Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I was in a car accident. The other driver was at fault. My car was totaled. The insurance company XXXX took forever to close the claim. XXXX sent the payoff check on or around XX/XX/XXXX to XXXX for my XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$14000.00}. I had GAP insurance with XXXX, XXXX paid {$7000.00}. We all worked together to get the correct amounts and documents to all companies. It took XXXX until XX/XX/XXXX to finish the claim on their end. I paid a remaining balance of {$1100.00} on XX/XX/XXXX when I found out there was a remaining balance holding up my account being closed. The pay off was {$21000.00} The total paid was : XXXX XXXX owes me {$1100.00} back immediately. They have horrible accounting practices Come to find out, XXXX closed my account and made it a CHARGE OFF as of XX/XX/XXXX, knowingly I/we were working with XXXX to close this account. This has impaired my credit for XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. I was on time with my payments. I suffered a total XXXX XXXX from this accident. I have contacted XXXX for the past 25 days and 17 business days for them to correct this error and correct my credit on all 3 bureaus. I have emailed the CEO, Chairman and CFO regarding this account error. XXXX on the Executive Team of XXXX accounts can be reached at XXXX. I have emailed them 8 times, I have recorded calls as we all agreed to have recorded calls when they call me or I call them. I have provided them with documentation and requested them to correct my account credit by going back to the date of incident as stated by XXXX, removing all late payments and correcting the chargeoff status on all 3 bureaus with correct amounts reflecting immediately. I have not received any updates or letters of credit or resolution in 20 days. I need help. This is unlawful and unfair. I have rights as a consumer

Consumer Complaint: Hey there! I hope this message finds you well. I just wanted to reach out and discuss an issue I've been having with a list of accounts. It seems that these accounts have violated my rights to privacy and confidentiality under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( 15 USC 1681 ). I've already contacted Experian, XXXX, and XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX to ask them to look into these accounts. However, they have informed me that everything is complete and accurate. I find this hard to believe, as there are discrepancies in the open dates, dates of last activity, and other important details. According to 15 USC 1681i ( 5 ), they should be making modifications to any accounts that are not reporting correctly. Furthermore, under 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 ( A ) ( 1 ), it is stated that no one should provide inaccurate information on to a consumer reporting agency. With this in mind, I kindly request that these items/accounts be removed immediately. I appreciate your attention to this matter, and I look forward to resolving this issue with your assistance.
