Issue: Problem with a company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Was not notified of investigation status or results
Consumer Complaint: My credit reports are not reporting accurately. I sent a letter to all XXXX companies to fix or delete. To no prevail, they have not corrected the information, nor have they deleted it. I have asked that they fix the items or delete it. I even sent my ID, social security card, and proof of address. The only thing they sent in return was a letter stating to please send verification which I did previously.

Issue: Unable to get your credit report or credit score
Subissue: Problem getting your free annual credit report
Consumer Complaint: I obtain my free annual reports every year through the annualcreditreport.com. I have never been able to get my report from Experian and instead get an error every year. When I tried to log into their website to request it there, I got an error accessing the site after logging in and have been unsuccessful in requesting more information from them. I have not had this experience with XXXX or XXXX and have logged into their accounts fine to dispute small changes in the past without any errors. Experian says that you have to mail them your social security number with all of your personal information, which I am not comfortable doing. Not to mention it isn't free if you have to buy stamps to communicate with them to get it every year. I would like to report them because upon searching reddit and other sites online I see that many people are having this issue and that it seems they are purposely doing this to avoid giving an actual free report.

Issue: Credit monitoring or identity theft protection services
Subissue: Received unwanted marketing or advertising
Consumer Complaint: Signed up XXXX XXXX for Experian 's free credit monitoring service. The privacy notice lists multiple steps to be removed from marketing ( with separate instructions for being removed from phone marketing, email marketing for XXXX years, email marketing for more than XXXX years, direct mailing and so forth ). It even specifies exactly what language must be used in Unsubscribe requests. I followed the instructions exactly. I received case number XXXX and was told I did not supply enough information to verify my identity, though I provided exactly the information requested in the privacy notice. They then provided a phone number and a mailing address. The phone number merely tells the caller to use the website and email address. I will of course mail in the paper form ( which requests that I mail in XXXX forms of ID ) but find the runaround ridiculous. They should just say this in the first place.

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Personal information incorrect
Consumer Complaint: I sent a letter to Experian, XXXX, and XXXX advising them that the information on my credit report was incorrect. I sent in my driver 's license, Social Security Card, and a piece of mail with my current address in which I reside. All I received was a letter stating that I must send in identification to change the information. I provided my letters sent in XX/XX/2023 and all I've gotten in return is a letter stating to verify who I am.

Consumer Complaint: Experian XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX, TX XXXX Dear sir, I have decided to indicate my frustration over continuous emails from your company office, XXXX and XXXX. An email from the latter is just only once indicating the important information regarding the disputes. The former email address sent 4 times over 5 days. The contents of the former ( XXXX ) are following : -- XX/XX/ ( XXXX ), transfer the balance {$960.00}, which I am not sure where this data, {$960.00}, came from, since I believe myself, I paid off all usage amount of credit cards of mine. Therefore, I tried to check the records, which must be shown in the credit reports of Experian.com. However, I found out the site led me to the offer of upgrade of my account, which I will state later. -- XX/XX/ ( XXXXXXXX XXXX ), credit limit offer ( {$14000.00} ) -- XX/XX/ ( XXXXXXXX XXXX ) credit offer -- XXXX ( XXXXXXXX XXXX ) The title of email said about the dispute resolution. Therefore, I logged in my account ; however, it ended up the same site which I mentioned above. The printout is enclosed with this letter. This asked the upgrade of membership, which I do not know what it is from the beginning. I remember I had some monthly payment for my protection long time ago, which I cancelled. This might be from Experian, most likely. But it already terminated since I do not pay anymore. Anyway, this email offered identity theft insurance by insurance company subsidiaries or affiliates of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Therefore, I checked this global company, XXXX XXXX XXXX, and realized this must be XXXX, which offer the security system. I remember the house where I lived more than 20 years ago had the security system, which protected me from the theft. Since I remember there was the attempted robbery, but this practical system worked very well. Once this robbery tried to open window of the kitchen when I was out, the security system worked and the person in charge came to the house, the owner was called and needed to come to the house to meet the police, and, of course, the policemen came to make the report by checking the mess created by me, not robbery. The owner just said it was nice I was out and not hurt by this criminal. The police just told me the robbery left immediately because he was surprised by the huge alarm sound. I miss that system now. Anyway, it might be not from XXXX, but I know XXXX offers the travel insurance world widely. What I want to say is I do not recognize and relate the identity theft insurance which is offered by this email to XXXX which offers the health insurances in XXXX. Especially, this email offer asks {$31.00} including tax monthly. And this XXXX site asks the viewers to provide the credit card information, including card numbers, expiration date, and security code. From all of above-mentioned, I conclude this so-called Experian, XXXX, must be an organization of fraud, because it offers the fraud protection insurance to the victim, who already have the fraud alert due to the identity theft, besides this XXXX in the American site, does not look to offer the identity theft insurance ; even though some insurance company subsidiaries or affiliates of XXXX might offer that kind of insurance. Sincerely,

Consumer Complaint: Its come to my attention that I have been told by each credit bureau that I have delinquencies on my reports. When I reached out to have the error and misleading information to be removed they did not respond to me with the proper documentation and evidence supporting their claims against me. So I would like for them to delete and correct the issues. I explained to them how they are violating the fair credit reporting act and the consumer protection act laws! But they fail to abide by it.
