Consumer Complaint: Good morning, I am filing this complaint due to inaccurate reporting and a Chargeoff for my consumer report for XXXX XXXX. The first thing I noticed was the date opened was different. XXXX reported the date opened as XXXX Experian and XXXX reported the date as XX/XX/XXXX as the date opened. The date last reported was different as well. XXXX and Experian reported the date last reported as XXXX XXXX reported the date last reported was XX/XX/XXXX. Lastly, the date last active was different as well. XXXX reported the date last active as XXXX Experian reported the date last active as XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX reported the date last active as XXXX These items are violations of my consumer rights pursuant to 15 USC 1681. As for the Chargeoff on my consumer report this is considered a certificate of indebtness. This is also considered income being reported on my consumer report. Income can not be reported on my consumer report. I also added the Privacy Act of 1974. The Privacy Act of 1974 ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( United States ) XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, a United States federal law, establishes a Code of Fair Information Practice that governs the collection, maintenance, use, and dissemination of personally identifiable information about individuals that is maintained in systems of records by federal agencies. The Privacy Act requires that agencies give the public notice of their systems of records by publication in the Federal Register. The Privacy Act prohibits the disclosure of information from a system of records absent of the written consent of the subject individual, unless the disclosure is pursuant to one of twelve statutory exceptions. The Act also provides individuals with a means by which to seek access to and amendment of their records and sets forth various agency record-keeping requirements. Additionally, with people granted the right to review what was documented with their name, they are also able to find out if the " records have been disclosed '' and are also given the right to make corrections

Consumer Complaint: Hi i'm reaching out today because the credit reporting agencies are still reporting a illegal charged off account on my consumer report. I have made multiple complaints in regards to this account yet the law is still continuing to be broken. The continued reporting of this account is a direct violation of 15 USC 1681b as I never gave written consent to any of the major credit reporting agencies to report this account on my consumer report. This is also a direct violation of the privacy act of 1974 as I was never informed of my right to opt out of the reporting of this account. This is my formal notice that i'm opting out of the reporting of this account.
