Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Information belongs to someone else
Consumer Complaint: In 2007 when XXXX and the data breach started, I immediately started trying to freeze my credit report, which was not frozen after several attempts. I noticed several items being listed on my credit report over the years without my knowledge XXXX never followed the proper steps for consumers to gain back their credit. For me, it was like pushing it under the rug and hoping go away. I have tried over again to send letters. Stayed on the phone for hours, just to get the run around.

Consumer Complaint: The company recently sent me a letter stating my balance owed is {$0.00} but the account is reflecting that I owe {$15000.00} on my consumer report. There is obviously a discrepancy between the company and the reporting agencies which appears to result in erroneous/inaccurate information being reported on my consumer report.

Consumer Complaint: I will upload a PDF of this in case the formatting gets removed : I pulled my Experian Consumer Report and noticed a whole bunch of things I do not want on there, which I had never consented to them having or sharing. I mailed them a very detailed letter requesting they prove they had the right to receive and share my information. I clarified that even if I HAD accidentally consented, I hereby revoke that consent and I listed all the things they must remove. I extended Experian 30 days to provide proof of my contract with them as well as proof they have provided clear and conspicuous notice. I also extended them 30 days to remove the particular things I wanted removed, requesting they send me an updated report. I made it clear I will hold them accountable for {$1000.00} per violation. I also made it clear that, as Im currently traveling, they must respond via email. And therefore, if they mail their updated report and/or proof of contract or consent INSTEAD of emailing it to me as well, it shall be considered as though they have not responded at all. I have not received any email. I am not aware of any mail sent to the mailing address they have on file. And, as I can see from todays Experian report, there are still XXXX data points which they have yet to remove. For the record, I will attach my letter to Experian in this complaint.
