Issue: Improper use of your report
Subissue: Reporting company used your report improperly
Consumer Complaint: I'm XXXX XXXX, and I'm writing to discuss some issues with my credit report that I received from your agency. I recently discovered that my personal information was shared with a third party without my permission. This seems to go against the rules outlined in the Fair Credit Reporting Act. According to my understanding of the law, I have the right to know and control who gets my personal information. However, my report shows that some details were shared without giving me the chance to say no. I want to clarify that my problem is not with the companies I owe money to but with your agency for sharing my information without asking me first. According to the law, you're supposed to get my written consent before reporting my personal information, and I haven't given that consent. I'm asking for proof that I agreed to this, as required by law. I've also reported this issue to the Federal Trade Commission, and my complaint number is XXXX. I'm worried that this unauthorized sharing of my information might be a form of identity theft. I'm formally requesting the removal of the following accounts from my report within four business days : XXXX XXXX XXXX- Account Number : XXXX XXXX & XXXX XXXX - Account Number : XXXX XXXX XXXX - Account Number : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX - Account Number : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX - Account Number : XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX - Account Number : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX - Account Number : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX - Account Number : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX - Account Number : XXXX I've also noticed some unauthorized inquiries on my report. I'd like these removed as well : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX date XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX - Inquiry date XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX- Inquiry date XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX - Inquiry XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX - Inquiry date XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX - Inquiry date XX/XX/XXXX I want to make it clear that I have the right to a fair and accurate credit report. Removing these accounts is crucial for correcting the mistakes in my report. Additionally, I'm asking for documentation on how you verified the disputed accounts and proof that I had the option to opt out of having my information reported. I expect you to address this matter promptly and resolve the dispute within four business days. If not, I may have to take further legal action. Thank you for your quick attention to this issue.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/ a purchase of a XXXX product was made and funded via XXXX ( loan XXXX XXXX ) The product caused over XXXX in damages to my wood floor. I reached out to XXXX explained and was instructed all they could do was refund XXXX and take back the machine but if the damages needed repair, they advised to reach out to the manufacturer, I did and they took the machine back. I made XXXX and XXXX aware starting in XXXX. Providing emails and proof from the manufacturer I was no longer in possession of an item I was still paying on. I was ping-ponged back and forth. XXXX said they needed XXXX to tell them it was returned, XXXX stated they did but because it wasn't back to them they can't. I went on like this for months all while having autopay on for an item I didn't have, finally, XXXX I was fed up and demanded it is rectified via arbitration on both ends, I shouldn't pay for an item I no longer had, I then heard back from XXXX who after searching found all the proof sent months back and communicated with XXXX who then on XX/XX/ confirmed they were fixing this and considering it paid in full and provided me the email stating it was satisfied in full and indicated they were sending a check for {$25.00} as I overpaid. On XXXX apparently, an email was sent that I didn't see stating they were putting me into collections for {$25.00}. I provided the collection company the proof and again back at it emailing XXXX asking why this was done and IF I owed money why would they send me a check and state in the email I overpaid. Now it shows as collections of 60day on my credit, it ruined my chance at a loan I needed, Im being harrased by debt collectors for this a and suffered a hit to my credit and was denied a loan that I needed for a repair. This should be illegal, how come they are only made to " correct '' the report but the damage to me is far worse and lasting especially now the underwriting dept has it as I was under a collection.. I am demanding retribution and am looking into legal guidance and to what can be done. ALSO, YOU WILL FIND IN SCREENSHOTS THERE ARE MISSING CONVERSATIONS FROM XXXX THAT I SAVED BUT IN THE PORTAL THEY ARE NO LONGER THERE. XXXX WAS THE LAST PERSON I SPOKE TO WHO HAD HANDLED THE REFUND. NOW HIS CONVERSATION IS NOT FOUND so that is another aspect of fraud I request being looked into I appreciate all who help, thank you

Consumer Complaint: During XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX charged me a late fee and reported a late payment to the credit reporting agencies. Experian, XXXX, and XXXX are all reporting this late payment which is a violation of 15 USC 1681 ( a ) ( 2 ) ( 1 ). Which states a consumer report does not include information solely as to transactions or experiences between the consumer and the person making the report. Since XXXX XXXX charged me a late fee, which is a transaction the credit reporting agencies should not be reporting the transaction on my credit report. The credit reporting agencies are reporting a factual inaccurate late payment. Please see the attachments and evidence.

Consumer Complaint: Previously I've looked over a copy of my consumer and noticed that there are accounts and information thats reporting either inaccurately or doesnt belong to me at all. There are multiple names and addresses that arent mine along with a collection account stating that I owe them a debt. I have no knowledge of this creditor reporting this account nor did I give them any consent to obtain my personal information and share it. I cant owe a debt if there was never an agreement to pay on any balance between me and the creditor. If they cant provide any verification that we had an agreement, then this account was never mine. I feel as though my right to privacy was violated in which as a credit reporting agency Experian must respect that right. Reporting an account or information thats not verifiable or accurate must be removed from my consumer report immediately. It is Experians duty to do whats fair and equitable for the consumer in which reporting inaccurate information and accounts to my consumer report isnt fair nor equitable for me. Anything that they report on my consumer report must be accurate. Violations committed by Experian : 15 U.S. Code 1681b - Permissible purposes of consumer reports 15 U.S. Code 1681 - Congressional findings and statement of purpose 15 U.S. Code 1681e - Compliance procedures 15 U.S. Code 6802 - Obligations with respect to disclosures of personal information 15 U.S. Code 1681a - Definitions ; rules of construction 15 U.S. Code 1681i - Procedure in case of disputed accuracy 15 U.S. Code 1666 - Correction of billing errors
