Issue: Problem with a company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Investigation took more than 30 days
Consumer Complaint: I sent a letter regarding inaccurate and unknown things on my credit report. To this day over 30 days later I have not received a response yet. I feel like I'm being taken advantage of and being ignored of my disputes. Section 611 ( a ), it is plainly stated that a failure to investigate these items within 30 days gives a reason to immediately remove those items from my credit report it has been over 30 days so they should be deleted promptly. I demand these accounts be deleted immediately or I will file for litigation due to the stress you caused me. My information was also impacted by the XXXX, Experian and XXXX data breach and may have got into the hands of the wrong person.

Consumer Complaint: I filed a dispute for incorrect information on my credit report. I received an email from the credit bureau stating that they are assuming the disputes are coming from a 3rd party. They in fact did not come from a 3rd party. l even called them to verify it was me and they still refused to process my disputes. I wasted money on mailing my disputes out. I sent personal information to verify my identity through mail, just for them to not thoroughly investigate.

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and frustration regarding the unresolved disputes I have filed with XXXX, XXXX, and Experian. Despite my repeated attempts to rectify inaccuracies on my credit report, it has been over 60 days, and I have not received any response from your agency. I have meticulously detailed the accounts in question in my dispute letters and explicitly outlined the violations these accounts represent in terms of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The lack of acknowledgment and resolution from your end is not only alarming but also a blatant disregard for the rights granted to me as a consumer. In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, it is imperative that the information on my credit report is 100 % accurate. Under 15 U.S Code 1681e ( b ) and 15 U.S. Code 1681i ( 5 ), the accounts in question are in direct violation of these provisions by failing to report accurate information within the stipulated timeframe. I am attaching copies of all the letters I have sent previously for your reference. It is disheartening to see the lack of urgency and commitment to resolving these issues, which are impacting my financial standing and overall well-being. I demand immediate attention to this matter and a thorough investigation into the violations outlined in my disputes. The persistence of these inaccuracies not only jeopardizes my financial health but also undermines the integrity of the credit reporting system. I expect a prompt response and resolution to these issues in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Your cooperation in rectifying these violations is crucial to restoring my confidence in your agency. Thank you for your urgent attention to this matter.
