Consumer Complaint: This complaint serves as a follow-up to my previous complaint ( XXXX ) filed on XXXX against Experian regarding the inaccurate reporting of a purported debt on my credit report. While I am grateful for the CFPB 's ongoing investigation, I regret to inform you that Experian has further violated my rights by marking the disputed debt as updated on my credit report as of XXXX. This action blatantly disregards my valid dispute and the lack of any proof of debt provided by the debt collection agency.

Consumer Complaint: I hope you're doing well. I'm writing to talk about an issue I found in my credit report. My name is XXXX XXXX XXXX, and I noticed that some of my personal information was shared with another company without my permission. I think this goes against the law that says you can't share someone's personal info without their say-so. I read about the rules ( 15 U.S. Code 6802 ) that say my personal info should be protected, but it seems like that didn't happen. The Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) also gives me the right to control who gets my info, and it looks like my info went to someone who isn't connected to your company. This worries me because I didn't get a chance to say no, like the law says I should. Just to be clear, I don't have a problem with the companies I owe money to. My concern is with your company for sharing my info without checking with me first. I checked the law ( 15 USC 1681b ), and it says you need my written permission to share my personal info. I never gave that permission, so I need you to prove that I said it was okay. If you can't, it might mean you broke the rules of the FCRA. I already reported this to the Federal Trade Commission ( FTC ), and my complaint number is XXXX. I'm worried this might be a kind of identity theft ( 18 USC 1028a ). I'm officially asking you to take these accounts off my credit report in the next four business days : XXXX XXXX XXXX - Account Number : XXXX XXXX XXXX - Account Number : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX - Account Number : XXXXXXXX XXXX - Account Number : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Account Number : XXXX I also want you to remove these unauthorized inquiries in the same time frame : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Inquiry date XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX - Inquiry date XX/XX/2023 XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX Inquiry date XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX - Inquiry date XX/XX/ I have the right to fair and accurate credit reporting, and fixing these mistakes is important for my credit report to be correct. I also need you to show me how you checked that the information you have is right and that I had a chance to say no to it. This is important to make sure credit reports are fair and accurate. I hope we can sort this out quickly, within the four business days I mentioned. If not, I might have to take legal action. Thank you for looking into this right away.

Consumer Complaint: Dear Experian Dispute Department, I am writing to bring to your attention a serious concern regarding the unresolved dispute on my credit report. I have previously contacted Experian regarding the presence of fraudulent accounts on my credit report from third parties, and despite my repeated requests for validation and verification, I have not received any proof of claim. This intentional effort on Experian 's part to retain inaccurate and fraudulent information on my credit report is not only unjust but also a violation of the law. I have diligently provided ample information and followed the necessary procedures to rectify this issue, yet the inaccurate accounts persist, significantly impacting my creditworthiness. I kindly request that Experian promptly investigate and rectify this matter, providing the necessary documentation to validate the legitimacy of the disputed accounts. Failure to comply with this request may result in further legal action. I appreciate your immediate attention to this matter and expect a swift resolution to ensure the accuracy and integrity of my credit report. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX
