Consumer Complaint: I have written and sent in over 30 days ago, my letter opting out Per 15 usc 6802 & 6805. I have chosen to opt out with these companies ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) yet they are on my report for all XXXX credit bureaus The XXXX account was sold and is charged off. A charge off is considered a certificate of indebtness, which is also considered income and MUST be removed The collections account was sold to a third party violating the privacy act of 1974. This need to be removed. I the consumer also never authorized my credit card utilization. The law states it is ILLEGAL to report transaction history without my written consent per 15 U.S. Code 1681b - Permissible purposes of consumer reports
