Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I received 7 phone calls. From a debt collector informing me of a debt that they obtained. I then asked him to send me the original debt in the mail and we can go from there. The woman whom I spoke with who never told me her name said what is that going to do if I send it to you in the mail. Then she began to say how they're going to sue me. And then she hung up. On XX/XX/2023. I received this letter dated for the 7th with the due date of the XXXX of XXXX. With only the amount I owed and their company name on it. Stating pre- legal actions. So I called the number on the phone which is a different number from which they were calling me from the first time. They put me on hold for a long time and then said all the person handling your cases of the unavailable but how can I take a payment. Identifying them that I would like the original documents mailed to me as I stated once before and then they hung up. I never received anything in the mail or phone call until this month didn't even know they obtained the debt that they say I owe

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX I wrote Midland Funding a direct letter asking for specific information in regards to account # XXXX to their mailing disputing address XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX MI XXXX tracking number XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX Midland Funding received my request. It has been 31 days since I sent my request inquiry and I have NOT received any information back from this debt buyer. The specific information I was requesting was Original Date of 1st Delinquency date that occurred on the Original Creditor account with XXXX XXXX. Last payment made on the Original Creditor account with XXXX XXXX. How many days was this account LATE before the Original Charge Off date XX/XX/XXXX with the Original Creditor XXXX XXXX. Example XXXX, Charge off Midland Funding LLC or Midland Credit Management whom ever they represent themselves as has failed to respond to my inquiry within 30 business days not including holidays and weekends which is a violation of the FDCPA and FCRA. This company is reporting different information to XXXX XXXX and XXXX and all 3 companies have Verified as Accurate this account or updated the account. I do not know which consumer reporting agency is reporting accurate information because all 3 agencies report different information. * XXXX Verified as Accurate this account on XX/XX/XXXX file number XXXX with a 7 year purging date of XX/XX/XXXX and a past due dollar amount {$8400.00} currently reporting. They claim that this account was closed on XX/XX/XXXX all while reporting the Account Type as Open. The Original Amount reports {$8400.00} while the Balance and Past Due report {$8400.00}. There is no reason why the balance and original amount should be different. * XXXX generated me results for this account on XX/XX/XXXX confirmation number XXXX with the date of delinquency date of XX/XX/XXXX. The high credit reports {$8400.00} with a balance and past due of {$8400.00}. The account type reads Open with a Payment History reporting 120-149 days past due. * XXXX generated me with results on XX/XX/XXXX report # XXXX with the 7 year purging date of XX/XX/XXXX. The Original balance reports {$8400.00} while the balance reports {$8400.00}. The current status reads {$8400.00} past due and a Payment History is being reported. Midland has updated information with experian but refused to answer to my inquiry letter? How is that legal? This is why I requested information directly from the source in clear explanation and this company refused to answer to my inquiry and send me what I had requested. If this company had the information on file then they should have no problem supplying me with this specific XXXX questions.

Consumer Complaint: I had a debt with XXXX XXXX due to my XXXX XXXX card being sent to collections in the amount of XXXX. The debt was transferred to a debt collector by the name of midland credit. On XX/XX/XXXX, I made a settlement payment in the amount of {$1300.00}. Was told that this will reflect on my credit report and they will notify XXXX as well. I checked and noticed this was not updated as said. I disputed said account with experian. However, XXXX did not reflect the status to show that the debt was settled. However, reflects that the amount is charged off at XXXX and written off. XXXX refuses to redispute. I'm simply asking for my account to reflect accuracy of payment. If they continue to report as if I never made a payment or tried to resolve, why would I have even bother to do so? Is extremely frustrating so I'm asking for your help in this matter.

Consumer Complaint: I am in receipt of my credit report dated in XXXX 2023.Since obtaining my credit profile I came across this account that does not belong to me. I sent Midland Credit Management certified letters and have not received a response from them regarding inaccurate marks on my credit report. I am for certain that I do not owe your company any money. For starters, I have never done business with you. In fact, I had never heard of your company until having received my credit profile. What I find strange is your attempt to settle the debt with me when I do not owe you any money in the first place! Please see this as me disputing once again this alleged debt with your company as well as requesting debt *VALIDATION*. You have more than enough time for you to send me and CFPB legal supporting documents bearing that I've done some type of business with you, *HENCE OWING YOU MONEY*. This is not my debt. Since this " UNKNOWN '' debt appears to have been sold to a collection agency anyway. The contract should be CANCELLED!
