Consumer Complaint: I was forced to sign an IRS document sharing information between the IRS and discover card. I am not legally obliged to do so, and they forced me to close my accounts. They closed my online and app accounts ( on phone and mobile ) and did not allow me to make any further purchases. Being left in the dark for two weeks, I then had my account closed for no reason. They say it's a " business decision. '' I then have to call in, and the people I spoke to are not even the same team who closed my account. The only way to get in contact with them is by mail. My credit score was also hit due to closing an account on my record. It is absolutely terrible business practices coming from Discover Card. I will follow through and hopefully bring Discover Card to a small claims court.

Consumer Complaint: We bought a laptop online, directly from XXXX on XXXX XX/XX/2020. It died on XXXX XX/XX/2020. XXXX shipped a replacement laptop on XXXX XX/XX/2020, while placing a hold on our credit card pending return of the defective laptop. On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX received, but then apparently lost, the defective laptop, turning the hold into a charge. This delivery was at least one day prior to XXXX two week return deadline. I filed a dispute with Discover Card when my bill closed, including this charge, on XXXX XX/XX/2020. After receiving copies of XXXX receipts proving delivery XXXX told me that everything is resolved and I shouldn't be seeing a charge. I had given Discover Card copies of those same receipts from XXXX showing that I sent a package to XXXX and that it was received before XXXX return deadline. Nothing XXXX has sent to Discover Card and Discover Card has made available to me either mentions or denies that they received the defective laptop returned by me. In spite of the proof of delivery on my part and the lack of a dispute of this fact on XXXX 's part Discover Card has ruled against me and said that I need to pay XXXX, without explaining why this decision makes sense.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX and Discover do not update the free credit score/fico score like all my other cards, the only time it get updates is when I call XXXX. When I call XXXX XXXX XXXX or chat with discover they said it is up to XXXX XXXX to update when i call XXXX XXXX they say banks have to report. I have approx 10 credit cards all paid off and XXXX XXXX XXXX and discover is the only ones not updating my score. With other credit cards my score is XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX have me at XXXX-it stayed at XXXX for a few months when others updated monthly. Discover finally have me at XXXX and have not updated since XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX denied me home loan because of my credit score several years ago and now they refuse to update my fico score consistently like other credit card companies that also get their reports from XXXX XXXX, so I can get a better interest rate and loan amount/ XXXX fico score XXXX Discover credit score XXXX all other credit cards XXXX - XXXX The only reason these to cards changed there score at all is because I was constantly calling them and XXXX XXXX for awhile they both was still reporting XXXX after other cards had me over XXXX. I feel like they do not want to up my score appropriately so I don't have access to home loans. I feel I am being discriminated by these to entities. Yes I am XXXX American.

Consumer Complaint: Thank you for taking time to read this. The total amount charged was {$11000.00} in XXXX of XXXX. The online travel agency XXXX was supposed to provide a discount to which it did not so we initially disputed the discount amount of XXXX XXXX. Due to the pandemic, XXXX went out of business in XXXX of XXXX without providing a service nor refunding that amount. Now we are trying to recover the {$11000.00} but because of the initial dispute for a smaller amount Discover wont dispute it nor provide us with credit even though more than a hundred pages of evidence supported the refund. Discover has even agreed that I should be refunded this amount but has not done so. It is un fair to be out nearly {$12000.00} for something that we couldnt control. It has been almost a year. Please help our family CFBP. Thank you kindly.

Consumer Complaint: I was being overcharged in interest rates so I decided to pay off my Discover card close the account, which I did. I received a bill for ~ {$1.00}, called and was told they forgot to charge me that amount. I didn't pay the additional money as they had already overcharged me and I closed the account, paying what they said I owe. I filed a complaint and I'm now being told I ordered XXXX XXXX, which I never have. Any chagres should have been included in the amount I paid to close the account, and no changes were made after closing it. The woman kept trying to get me to keep the account open and I kept declining so perhaps she didn't close it, whatever the case, I paid off the balance and requested the account is closed. This company calls all time of day and night, harassing me. They send multiple communications a month. I paid the balance they said I owed and it was an overcharge in itself. I do not owe them a dime and I've never ordered XXXX XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I looked at my credit report and I noticed a credit card I didnt apply for under my name which is discover bank and I didnt do business with this company didnt apply for credit card back in 2018 with a XXXX balance I submit the documents but the account havent been removed yet and discover has a pending lawsuit against them for bad customer service and not taking this account off my records and never ask me to send documents and I did many times and they said they never got them and putting me in debt and I just lost my job because of them due to a bad credit score ... I need discover to leave me alone they are worst ... I didnt apply for discover back in 2018 account number ending in XXXX
