Consumer Complaint: I had autopay set up with my XXXXXXXX XXXX account. Discover instead decided to debit my Discover Bank savings account {$600.00} on XX/XX/2022. My Discover Bank savings account was unused. I immediately transferred sufficient cash ( {$700.00} ) into the Discover Bank account to cover the overdraft ; Discover retried the debit after the transfer had posted, on XX/XX/2022. However, instead of using the {$700.00} that had been deposited into the account, Discover then returned the {$600.00} ACH debit on XX/XX/2022. At that point, Discover charged me a {$35.00} returned check fee. I attempted to get a refund of the {$35.00} returned check fee, but the customer service person stated that the fee was 'contractually required ' and would not be waived. I believe that Discover 's bad faith actions in returning the ACH transaction when sufficient funds were available warrants a reversal of the fee.

Consumer Complaint: I opened my Discover Secured Credit Card in XXXX and around XXXX or XXXX of XXXX, Discovers automated systems raised my credit limit and graduated me from a secured card to an unsecured card. Discover claims that in the automated email, they would refund me for my security deposit and that I would receive it in a timely manner. It has been 5 months since Ive graduated and Ive made countless phone calls to Discovers customer service team about my security deposit being refunded and every time, I was given a different date, false information and promised call backs. As of writing this complaint, I was supposed to receive one today but I never received it. During the time Ive been speaking to Discover, they first sent out two checks, claiming to be in a blank envelope for security purposes and neither one of those two envelopes arrived this can be confirmed via USPSs Informed Delivery feature as well as the fact that I have received billing statements from Discover in the mail, without issues. Third time I had a call with Discover, they claimed that they were going to do a ACH to my bank account. I called back and forth with Discover for additional information and each time, they keep changing the dates. This has been a ongoing issue ever since Ive graduated from a secured card with them.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022, I ordered model XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$240.00} using my Discover Card. In XX/XX/2022, I received the item but the item was damaged and in XXXX package, not in XXXX XXXX packaging. I notified both the seller and Discover Card. The seller told me I had no right to contact my Discover Card company. I stated that I needed to inform discover because they paid for a damaged item. The seller refused to discuss the problem with me and contacted the Discover card company directly. Initially, Discover gave me credit for the full amount. Then a month letter they sent me a letter which states that transaction is valid, and took away the credit that they gave me. I called and informed them again the product was damaged and in the wrong box. I asked them, what they want me to do next. They told me send the item to seller. I sent the item to the seller by US Postal services. After the item was delivered I sent Discover the tracking number which shows the item was received by the seller. Discover asked for a written confirmation from the seller. I sent an email to seller to confirm that they received the item. The seller sent an email indicating that they received the item. I sent this information to Discover but discover said that they already closed the account and can not do anything. More than 60 days have passed, my credit card still has not been credited for the damaged article that was returned, in spite of the fact I have forwarded them receipts of the returned product. So my credit score dropped from XXXX to XXXX. I would like my credit card credited for the purchase of the damage product that I proved was returned. Additionally, I would like negative impact on my credit rating corrected. XXXX XXXX

The manager checked me out with no balance remaining. Because of my personal situation the charge is part of a for hire scam ..people paid to get paid to charge account. The charges was never agreed to or signed for. The other charges was for XXXX XXXX that was for another residence. My rent was paid of to XXXX. Even though I left in XXXX. Then after that the bank reduced my credit limit even though no payment was missed and my income increased.
