Consumer Complaint: This was written off as bad debt until I sent in a letter to all three major credit bureaus looking to dispute inaccurate information from my credit report on XX/XX/XXXX. I received XXXX letters, XXXX from Discover and another from XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX ' attorney office attempting to sue me over the fraudulent charges and unauthorized associated interest. I'm a bit confused because I got a letter from Discover stating I opened an account with them in XXXX of XXXX and didn't get my card until XX/XX/XXXX of XXXX which seems odd to wait that long for the card. I don't think that is accurate. I've attached an email of payments made between these dates which would mean I would have had the card before XX/XX/XXXX of XXXX. Also please note the account was closed so I no longer have access to full communications just copies of emails that I still have. My credit card was fraudulently paid off in the amount of {$1700.00} I was unaware of this until I received a bill for {$3400.00} which would have been more than my {$1700.00} limit. I immediately called and reported this as fraud. They told me they would investigate, they in return decided to write this off as bad credit and close out my account. I'm not receiving letters from XXXX XXXX informing me of a wage deduction in the amount of {$4700.00}. Apparently they continued to charge me interest on an account that should have been closed. Please assist if you can!

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX occasions I have paid my past due balances in chunks to fit with current pay structures. Typically XXXXXXXX XXXX worth of loan payments sit past due as I continue to catch up, however I am very diligent in making sure they do not cross the XXXX XXXX delinquency mark as that is when it gets reported. Discover has never had a problem with me handling it this way, as it prevents me from surprise overdrafts and allows me to pay when I get paid. In the XXXX of XXXX, XXXX XXXX of payments were made, the later XXXX on the XXXX I believe. On the recorded phone call which I made the payment over, you can clearly hear the operator state that the payment would process and my account would not be over the XXXX XXXX delinquency. I verified this verbally again with the operator and was assured that having made these payments my credit was not being affected. About XXXX XXXX after the payment was made they reported it Delinquent and hit my XXXX XXXX for over XXXX points. XXXX to be exact. It took me a XXXX or XXXX to notice and once I did I immediately reached out to rectify/clarify the situation. All past due payments were either made or scheduled. They have an open investigation into the situation currently ongoing, however I wanted to make sure I filed here as well because I have heard from others that Discover can be hard to work with. Any help restoring this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, my credit card got stolen and there was a charge of XXXX. I put my card on pause as soon as possible and as it was the weekend, I waited until the next weekday ( XX/XX/XXXX ) to call the fraud team. They saw a secondary charge of XXXX dollars at a bar somewhere else that I'm not even old enough to enter and got denied ( because it was on pause ). They said they would look into it and then denied it after 3 months?
