Consumer Complaint: I have had 3 CD 's with Discover Bank for years. Most recently I renewed one on XX/XX/2022. I received a letter from Discover Bank dated XX/XX/2022 advising that they were changing the terms of the deposit agreement and would no longer deposit the earned interest in my XXXX XXXX XXXX I contacted Discover Bank and advised them the arbitrary change in terms was not acceptable to me. Further as we no longer had a valid contract, I requested the CD 's be closed without interest penalty. Discvover Bank declined my request. Subsequently I closed one of my Cd 's and was charged an early withdrawal penalty of {$200.00}. I would like the early withdrawal interest penalty returned to me and the open accounts closed without penalty.

Consumer Complaint: I am a cardholder with Discover. Recently I opened a dispute against a charge I have on my card for {$340.00} against a website that scammed me on XX/XX/2022. I ordered a product for this amount and never received what I ordered, and my dispute was denied because Discover said they could not contact the merchant, yet I stated many times that the merchant was a scam and the website from where I made my purchase was no longer up. The staff at Discover have been extremely rude and unhelpful saying that there is nothing that they can do about this issue. From the photos I will be attaching you will see my receipt for the product as well as how the order is still pending in my XXXX application, which is an application used to track orders.

Consumer Complaint: I am currently working with a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and working to establish a debt management plan for my Discover Card. My entire balance is sitting at XXXX % APR. I spoke with their XXXXXXXX XXXX and XXXX department and they advised that the debt management plan was declined because I have a {$200.00} transaction sitting at XXXX percent. This transaction is found on my statements as ACH FUNDS TRANSFER REVERSAL dated XX/XX/22. This transaction was the result of Discover reversing a double payment that took place on XX/XX/22. The {$200.00} should have been put back to the balance under the regular APR. When I've spoken with the XXXXXXXX XXXX and XXXX department they advise me they can not help me with the {$200.00} ACH transfer and that I must speak with Customer Service. Customer Service then tells me that there is nothing sitting at XXXX percent and there is nothing to correct and that my entire balance is at XXXX %. The XXXX XXXX and XXXX department is refusing to assist me with the debt management plan proposal as they have no clue what is going on with the ACH FUNDS TRANSFER REVERSAL dated XX/XX/22. Neither department will speak with the other and they expect me to be the middleman for their company however all they do is bounce me back and forth between the departments. I have attached the letter I received from XXXX along with an email from the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I am working with informing me why Discover declined the debt management plan.
