Consumer Complaint: I currently have an open account with XXXX XXXX. This account has been active since XXXX. I was overcharge for the car I had which was a XXXX XXXX XXXX. After reviewing my contract my interest rate was extremely high. There were junk fees added to my account. The car value ended up being XXXX. I tried multiple times to return the vehicle but was left stuck with it. My car was involved in an accident by another driver. My insurance company paid the car off and I had gap insurance. For whatever reason XXXX XXXX said they never received any documentation proving that. I sent the documents XXXX and as of today no one can seem to find it ( Scammers ). Ive noticed that this has happened to multiple XXXX. My account was placed in collections and turned over to their attorney. I settled in full on XX/XX/XXXX and have yet to receive the proper documents from CREDIT ACCEPTANCE. The attorney sent me a receipt, and also documentation of the closed account. Ive called XXXX XXXX XXXX trying to get what I need to close the account on their end. Its always a different answer each time I call. My credit shows a lower balance, but it doesnt reflect settled in full. Its showing derogatory marks although Ive disputed everything with XXXX, XXXX, & XXXX based off the inaccurate information. This company need to be investigated for ripping people off, adding junk fees, hidden fast, and high interest rates to consumers with low credit scores. Each rep I speak with are extremely rude and dont want to be on the phone

Consumer Complaint: I noticed inaccurate information on my consumer credit report. Per the FCRA, I disputed the accuracy of the information with the creditor CREDIT ACCEPTANCE CORP on XXXX information reported is not consistent across all three CRA 's which is a violation of Section 623 ( a ) ( XXXX ) ( B ). I sent a letter by certified mail to the address for CREDIT ACCEPTANCE CORP and requested a electronic receipt for my records. The letter was sign for on XX/XX/XXXX. Per the FCRA, all furnishers of information to CRA 's have a duty to provide notice of dispute in 30 days and update any inaccurate information reported. Section 623 ( a ) ( 1 ), Section 623 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( B ), Section 623 ( a ) ( XXXX ). On XX/XX/XXXX my consumer report did not reflect that I had submitted a dispute in the comments. However, I did notice the remarks were update a month later on two CRA profiles but not all three, which was not within the 30 day timeframe. As of XX/XX/XXXX the information is still not consistent and accurate on all three CRA 's

Issue: Getting a loan or lease
Subissue: Fraudulent loan
Consumer Complaint: Commute to work has been a continuous struggle without any ventilation. Despite my requests, the company refused to accept the return of the car. I no longer desired this vehicle as it did not match my initial purchase expectations. For the past XXXX years, this car has functioned without proper air conditioning. Moreover, the car 's system frequently malfunctions while driving, causing unexpected stops in traffic. The information provided about the vehicle was deceitful and manipulative. I never agreed to pay for a car under these circumstances, and I find this manipulation highly unjust. The promise was that I would receive an operational and safe car for my family, which clearly hasn't been fulfilled. It's unfair that my family now bears this financial burden without a reliable vehicle, especially considering the needs of my XXXX child. I refuse to make payments for a car that is inoperable, as it was not part of our agreement. Despite my request, I haven't received the original contract, and the contract you attempted to provide is fraudulent and not signed by me. The Truth in Lending Act ( XXXX ), which is a federal law, mandates that lenders disclose specific information to borrowers regarding the terms and costs of the loan. This includes providing a written contract or agreement that clearly outlines the terms of the loan, such as interest rates, payment schedules, and any applicable fees. Sending a fraudulent contract is against the law. I insist on receiving the original contract before any further communication or payments. I will not make any additional payments for a car that can not be operated. XXXX years ago, returning the car was not allowed due to the representations made by your staff and the dealership, claiming no returns were possible. You manipulated me, and now you expect payment for a non-functional vehicle. The contract itself was founded on falsehoods, which is why you are withholding this information from me.
