Consumer Complaint: I have been trying for the last 3 years to catch XXXX back car payments up, even doubling up on my payments every month but no matter how much I pay they keep adding charges on to it and I'm still falling behind and it's showing my payments are always late on my credit report. No one I've talk to has been able to help me. They say " well, it's going down '' ... .NO, it's going UP!! They were supposed to put those two payments at the end of my loan so I don't know what's going on or how to fix it. I can't pay no more than I'm paying now and I'm thinking of getting a lawyer to resolve this issue!

Consumer Complaint: In dealing with Credit Acceptance for our vehicle loan, we had some difficulties paying the large monthly payment. Credit Acceptance created an alternate payment schedule for us, which we upheld to the payment plan until the time in XX/XX/2023 when we paid off the vehicle. During this time, even though we were making payments according to the payment plan Credit Acceptance designed, they were consistently reporting late payments. I do not understand if we were making all payments on the agreement we had in place & they were accepting the monthly payments, how could these payments be considered as LATE I have contacted Credit Acceptance on 2 occasions since XX/XX/2023 to have these remarks removed. These derogatory remarks have had a lasting impact on my report, making it impossible to receive any opportunity for loan approval. I pray that you can assist me. I desperately need a resolution.

Consumer Complaint: Company was notified before funding car that it was not working. Dealership would not take the car back on first day. Credit acceptance still funded the car regardless of not working. Company sold the car after repo from 30 days late. Never showed proof of sale minus balance. Charges accrued after sale each month and kept open after repo. No closed account or charge off. Reporting incorrect and fraud activity.

Consumer Complaint: Credit Acceptance agreed to let me skip a payment. Then they put me being late 5 times on my XXXX, XXXX, and Experian acts. This is not fair to me I never would have skipped a payment if I knew this was a result. I asked them to remove it they would not. I have not ever been late on this acct

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX Credit Acceptance Account # XXXX To whom it may concern, Thank you for taking the time to help me get this corrected. I purchased a new vehicle ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) in XXXX of XXXX and I financed it through Credit Acceptance. Unfortunately I fell behind on my payments due to XXXX XXXX and had 6 late payments from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. Since the late payments were due to work shutdowns due to XXXX XXXX, I was told that as long as I continued to make my payments on time that my account would be reported as current, XXXX XXXX, or no information provided. In order to protect my credit I continued to make all the payments on time and even paid off the loan early on XX/XX/XXXX. Unfortunately Credit Acceptance reported and still is reporting that my account was severely delinquent throughout XXXX and XXXX on XXXX, 3 late payments on XXXX, and zero late payments on XXXX. All 3 reports are reporting different information from Credit Acceptance concerning my account. This is not only inaccurate, it is unlawful. They are required by law to only report true and accurate information. Due to these inaccuracies, I have experienced more expensive auto insurance, higher credit card rates, and I am unable to purchase a home. I need this corrected as soon as possible. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: This car XXXX XXXXXXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX was purchased due to being coerced during a XXXX XXXX marriage. I am not ever able to speak to a supervisor. Car was removed from credit report but they will not settle with me. I have paid 3x the cars value already and still have 2x the value to go. And now I have to keep making ridiculous payment to keep the car but will not help my credit. Charged way too much interest, charges late fees on a payment arrangement during covid.

Consumer Complaint: . I have a 5-year auto loan with Credit Acceptance . I opened this account in XXXX for a vehicle ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ). In accordance to the XXXX moratorium that ended in XXXX late fees and interest charges were not supposed to be charged during this period - yet Credit Acceptance continue to collect these fees on this loan. Also, the additional fees they continue to charge are junk fees and makes no sense why these fees are being collected.
