Consumer Complaint: I had asked to change my payment date to the XXXX of the month from the XXXX. Which they did but they were reporting I was making my payments late and adding on fees. Now the last 3 months I had called to push my payment out which they agreed to and I made those payments and again late fees and reporting I wasn't making the payment to the credit bureaus. On or about XX/XX/XXXX I spoke with a customer service rep and told her I would not be able to make the payment for XX/XX/XXXX until XX/XX/XXXX, she instead set it up for XX/XX/XXXX and again I got a late fee and reported none payment!! They also cancelled my payment arrangement for the XXXX of each month multiple times. This is ridiculous!

Consumer Complaint: I purchased a car XXXX XXXX XXXX to be exact I guess the amount total was {$32000.00} after everything was added in they only wanted {$17000.00} for the car total but with the ApR made it {$32000.00} well I gave the car back after I had paid {$8000.00} total I was informed that they auctioned the car off for {$5000.00}. They did not pay no more than {$17000.00} for the car and charged me {$15000.00} more well now they are taking me to court wanting me to pay {$12000.00} still.

Consumer Complaint: I had until XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2023, I paid them and went to pick up my car I did not know they destroyed my license plate I didn't know it was considered private property. So they told me at the auction I could go so secretary of state and pay XXXX dollars. I went to secretary of state and they said my title was no good. I call credit acceptance and ask them what to do, they say well it should be in the mail in about XXXX weeks. I asked them why I wasn't told that before I made my payment and they said that's their policy. I also asked how could they sale my title before the date they gave me to pay it? That's their policy. Their policy can have me possibly losing my job. I spent all my money getting the vehicle I don't have money to take a XXXX to work.

Consumer Complaint: Received a fake letter in the mail From Credit acceptance corporation. Letter said I owed a dept on a vehicle I have never owned. I proceeded to check my credit report to make sure there was no identity theft on my credit report which there was not. I called the number on the letter and gave them the name on the letter with the account number. They said they could not verify my account without my date of birth and social Security number. The outstanding debt on the letter was {$36000.00}. I refused to give them any personal information and they said that they can not verify my account. They did say that they would Be happy to take payment over the phone. I think that they are posing as Credit acceptance Corp because I do think they are a company. I have been making multiple payments a month in attempt to catch up on the debt caused by a XXXX XXXX The company has used abusive behaviors, language. The company calls me regularly about seven to twenty times a day my phone records can confirm this. The company has threatened repossession, damage to my credit, and threatened me with legal action they refuse to take. I have requested all the account information in regards to my account to include the contract so I can review it, and requested assistance and they have refused and refused to allow me to speak to management to resolve the matter. This is causing emotional and mental distress in my life due to their aggressive collection activities and behaviors.
