Issue: Struggling to pay your loan
Subissue: Loan balance remaining after the vehicle is repossessed and sold
Consumer Complaint: As of XXXX acct number began with XXXX with credit acceptance I let them know there was a gas issue with the vehicle they never corrected, I paid for the repair out of pocket. After that I had another issue with ignition and didn't have the money to come out of pocket for that repair and the car note and the insurance plus what I originally paid for the 1st repair. After that I advised them to come get the vehicle and remove it from my consumer report less than 30 days I return the vehicle and it has still not come off my credit report it shows repossession and ruining my reputation with a derogatory mark on my credit report. This was for a used old car like a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for about {$10000.00}

Consumer Complaint: Had a car through credit acceptance about 8 years ago car was totaled and insurance payed from what I understood, the dealer I purchased from died so I couldnt go back there ... I finally got the account closed and removed from my credit report and worked hard to build my credit back and they have now put it on bureaus again they are lying saying its new and Im still paying on a car so when I dispute it as being old it reposted back as accurate. I cant seem to get any help from transunion bureaus due to this falsehood to remove it. This count shows the age but they make it look as if it is an open account and that I am just late paying, it is fraudulent as the account was closed.

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account status incorrect
Consumer Complaint: Credit Acceptance agreed to report the CURRENT status of my account when I notified them that I loss my job due to COVID and would need to make payment adjustments. The representative from Credit Acceptance then told me that they were offering a service in which would help people affected from the global pandemic : they would not report negative data to the credit bureaus such as late payments, etc. Instead, they would mark your credit report as " natural disaster '', thus protecting your account from any damage. Since then, Credit Acceptance has NOT accurately reported the status of my account when I notified them that I needed to adjust payments. They are incorrectly reporting that I was 60 days late. I notified them in XX/XX/XXXX and before XX/XX/XXXX, I had not missed a payment. I still paid after notifying them. Despite losing my job, I was able to pay off $ XXXX worth of car debt on XX/XX/XXXX, thus paying the loan in full and closing my account. By XX/XX/XXXX, Credit Acceptance begin reporting to the credit bureaus that I was 60 days late on payments and that my account was still being affected by natural disaster. It is now XX/XX/XXXX, I have called and sent several disputes. Through my efforts, several credit bureaus removed the remarks added by Credit Acceptance, those remarks being : " 60 days late '' and " natural disaster ''. Yet Credit Acceptance keeps adding the remarks, even though I've had them removed. Please help me! Credit Acceptance 's actions has managed to drop my credit score 60+ points despite me paying off the loan in full, closing the account, being affected by COVID - yet protected by a category labeled as " natural disaster '' and me reporting to Credit Acceptance at the time when my account was in good standing. Credit Acceptance refuses to remove the remark they added, I have tried everything. Every time I have the remark removed, Credit Acceptance adds it back, despite my account being closed and paid in full nearly a year ago.

Issue: Managing the loan or lease
Subissue: Problem with additional products or services purchased with the loan
Consumer Complaint: I purchased a car XX/XX/2020 or around that time. With a extended warranty that most service department at major dealerships do not honor 3 weeks into the loan the motor blew I tried to used the warranty going in they claimed not to cover this or that so hey I was stuck with the out of pocket expenses. 2 month as later I received a call from XXXX XXXX XXXX and they said we have to replace your motor they contacted the warranty dept and they said we will pay 2 hours of the 12 hour labor but tear the motor down and we will send a inspector out. A day later I received a call and the guy said we stop working with this company because they failed to pay us several times on jobs we done. I contacted the dealership I purchased the car from and they told me to contact the back thats keep insisting I contact the warranty company that receive payment from me to them every time I pay my car note. They claim the warranty company didnt deny the loan but if the only person that could work on my car is a certified XXXX mechanic in which I would find only at a dealership could work on this car in which the company itself does not accept this warranty its useless and I explained over 10 times. The bank is scared to lose relationship with the dealer because they able to make 30 % or more interest off its customers. Now Im stuck in in the middle of do the right thing or profit off a company that been making us a lot of money ripping off consumers. Inspire of me losing my job and will be homeless once XXXX left the eviction hold I still managed to pay my note and insurance my kids missed XXXX. When this car broke down I was in the middle of no where stranded for two whole day with no food no water no phone because the area had no service. And all credit acceptance keep saying call the warranty department not once trying to contact the dealer to see why did the motor go out in 3 weeks as long as they get they 30 % and the dealership keep sending them business thats all they worried about. Its a pandemic and the bank is taking advantage to the fullest and would rather make a dollar then to satisfy consumers
