Consumer Complaint: Back in XX/XX/XXXX I lost my job due to the pandemic and was unable to pay my car note. When I called and spoke with representatives they told me I would be fine because they were implementing a program for COVID relief that would put a freeze on credit monitoring. The next month I got the hit on my credit still, My payment history prior was perfect! I even paid twice in advance its the only late payment on my report and is hindering me from being able to get things I deserve. Ive reached out to the company ceo with a goodwill letter and was simply told they dont remove late payments. Please help.

Consumer Complaint: This company keeps trying to request a payment on a vehicle that was a total loss on XX/XX/20 and XXXX insurance paid for the car on XX/XX/20 and I signed the title and power of attorney over to them on XX/XX/20 before check was disburse. Prior to this they kept calling said they havent received a check when Im looking at the email the XXXX had forwarded to me to keep for records. Then finally they said oh ok you owe {$560.00} for co-payment. I said my deductible is {$250.00} which it was added in the check because the XXXX told me and send me documentation. So after that each representative kept changing amount after the car was paid off and Gap paid the rest. Help Me. Consumer Complaint: My car was totaled out in XXXX I had gap insurance and full cover insurance! I kept in contact with CREDIT ACCETANCE after my insurance company paid most of the car off and they told me that they will do the gap insurance claim! which they did and i ask them was it anything i needed to do to or pay and they said gap insurance will pay the vehicle off! -I contacted them again about XXXXwo months later and the insured me that i didnt have anythign to worry about! Well last year i got my credit report and found out they was reporting late payments on my sccount they said thwy would fix it never did and then all of a sudden i owe them XXXX dollars and i ask them where did it come from and they said they would have to transfer me to another department well they did and they said gap doesnt pay all of the car off! I went to explain to them that i was told not to worry about it ausw they will file the claim and gap would take care kf the rest and I never knew i had to pay anything else untill almost a year later! They offer me a settlement and I paid it .It is still showing negative information on my credit report serious negative! This isnt prefessional that they didnt comminicate to me exactly what was going on after each called i made to them! I need this deleted or either the negative information reporting XXXX XXXX deleted! THIS IS A MISTAKE ON THEIR END AND THEIR IS HENDERING ME. Please help me!

Consumer Complaint: My vehicle at the time was reported stolen in early XXXX and settled with insurance which paid only blue book value at the amount of {$4600.00}. At this time, Credit Acceptance was showing a remaining balance of {$4300.00}. I'm not denying there was a balance. I am denying this account being OPEN. They are reporting an open account on my credit and adding monthly fees as if I am in possession of this vehicle still. Although they updated amount of remaining balance in XXXX oXXXX XXXX as {$4300.00}, they reported a remaining balance of {$4200.00} in XXXX of XXXX. That amount remained the same until XXXX of XXXX which at that time was listed as {$5100.00}, which an additional total of {$860.00}. Every month after it has been additional amounts ranging from $ XXXX {$70.00} in different amount each month up until the current month, now showing I owe {$5600.00} as of this month. I have disputed this account and amounts a few times from different credit sites and they seem to continue to report this account as being open. I would like it to appear as closed as it is a closed account. I can not get my credit score under control because of this company.

XXXX, MI XXXX XXXX. I purchase my vehicle last year XX/XX/XXXX. I have made on-time payments since I opened my account. My account is now closed since I settled it for {$1000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. My vehicle was totaled on XX/XX/XXXX and insurance made a lumpsum payment of {$10000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX to close out my loan. Before my accident, I made every monthly payment on time for $ XXXX/month until XX/XX/XXXX. After my insurance payment on XX/XX/XXXX, I still had a remaining balance with this creditor that I agree to settled the account in full of {$1000.00} paid on XX/XX/XXXX. I disputed my balance with XXXX stating that the balance was inaccurate and also that this creditor has never reported my balance accurately since I opened the account. When I received my dispute results back from XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX Credit Acceptance had reported the balance still inaccurate and also reported my account as 60 days past due! I have never missed a payment and also have made all my payments on time. I contacted Credit Acceptance on XX/XX/XXXX to advised the inaccurate reporting and ask them to show me where I missed a payment and a supervisor name XXXX advised me she does not show a missed payment on my acct. She did email my information to the Credit dept team and asked me to wait for 1 week to get a callback. I accepted this loan because this company was supposed to help me rebuild my credit and instead all they have done is report my information inaccurately to affect my credit negatively. I don't understand how is that they can report false information and there's no penalty to the creditor but as for me as a consumer I will be affected negatively. This reporting of 60 days late has a huge negative impact on my credit. I agree to settle this account and close it out so I can get into another vehicle unfortunately that is not the case now since they have falsely reported a payment missed 60days late on my report that will cause me to not be able to get into another vehicle.

I have sense sent CA a certified letter with my police report and a letter advising them I am victim of identity fraud and requested they block their information my credit report. XXXX XXXX XXXX, GA XXXX, to complete a fraud package which included my signature 5 times, my identification and the police report. Made payments on time for over a year, then the engine overheated and it blew. Warranty refused to pay. Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX I called credit acceptance company and told them I couldnt make payments anymore and they could come repossess the vehicle. I let them know I was relocating out of state in XXXX and would like it taken care of by then. I made multiple calls back in between XXXX to XXXX for them to pick up the vehicle. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a confirmation call the the vehicle had been reposted from the driveway of my old home. I had already moved at this point. My credit report was updated the following month showing it as a closed settled account. It sat there as a closed settled account until XX/XX/XXXX when it randomly showed up as an active loan with missed payments on my credit report. I have contacted the company and they are now stating they we never repossessed the car. They claim it never showed as settled. This is incredibly frustrating and illegal.
