Consumer Complaint: Car was bought from a used car lot XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX the vehicle was involved in an accident, totaling it and appropriate insurance actions were taken on behalf on consumer ( GAP/PERSONAL ). The total loan amount remaining was {$3800.00} at this point. The loan agency ( CREDIT ACCEPTANCE ) and GAP provider ( XXXX XXXX ) kept going back and forth, saying the payment was being processed. Over the span of 4 years, interest has accumulated and the account in now in collections. Due to gross negligence on behalf of both companies this has hurt my credit as well as cause me an overwhelming amount of stress and inconvenience. These companies need to be held accountable and not get away with shorting the consumer.

They have failed to even investigate or send me correspondence back indicating they did an investigation and what the out come was. Further more, this account can not be 100 % accurate as there are open dates they have listed on my credit report varies between the 3 bureaus. How can one account be opened on different days? I want there alleged accounts in question to be removed from my credit report immediately.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I wrote a letter to XXXX and XXXX about an inaccurately reporting item that was adversely affecting my creditworthiness. Both companies reported back the item had been verified by Credit Acceptance. I also notified Credit Acceptance that they were hurting my livelihood by reporting inaccurate information about my account, they responded to my concern with a frivolous letter. I responded to XXXX and XXXX with proof of the inaccuracies on a letter dated XXXX XXXXand wrote a letter to the CEO of Credit Acceptance concerning the matter. Credit Acceptance sent me a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX, to settle the matter at a discounted price. I purchased a money order from the USPS and sent it certified mail upon complete removal of the account. As of date, XX/XX/XXXX, inaccurate data is still reporting. TransUnion nor Experian responding to a letter requesting the method of verification, yet still, they report UNVERIFIED inaccurate information.

Consumer Complaint: This company continues to report an auto loan that was included in a bankruptcy almost six years ago. They are currently reporting 120+ day late payments. There are several inaccuracies also being reported and I need the account removed from my credit reports immediately. The date the account went delinquent is also incorrect. They have it reported as XXXX. This account was due to be removed from my report this year but then they changed to date and continue to report late payments. They have continued to report false information. This is a predatory lender with several claims and lawsuits already filed against them. They must be stopped from doing this to people.

I received a response letter and it stated based on their investigation they confirm the inquiry on my report but Credit Acceptance Corporation fail to provide in documents supporting their claim.
