Consumer Complaint: Credit Acceptance Corp sold me a vehicle that had mechanical problems and 3 months after I purchased the vehicle the transmission blew out. Credit Acceptance Corp reached a settlement agreement with me in XX/XX/2021 and promised to settle the debt and delete from my credit report. However, Credit Acceptance Corp is causing severe damage to my credit by reporting the account every month on my credit report with a new balance.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased a car via XXXX XXXX XXXX out of XXXX, Nevada which was financed via Credit Acceptance Corporation. They wound up charging me over XXXX in interest on a loan that was around XXXX which seems high. On my credit report, they did not report that I paid off over XXXX, they only reported that I paid off over XXXX so where did the extra money that I paid off go to? On top of this, they put a XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) that caused problems with the car. The car wound up shocking me as a result according to the mechanics. I was told that they never should have put the device in but they refused to fix it or replace it, etc. ( I have evidence of this ). After all of this, I can not drive me car due to issues with the electrical problems that this device caused and I have had close to XXXX in medical bills over this. This is not fair. I feel that they should have done something to help rectify this situation but they do not seem to care at all.
