Consumer Complaint: Leased a car at XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX of XXXX for $ XXXX, 3 months later car completely shut down with a gas leak. Took for inspection and was advised there is over $ XXXX of damage. Reached out to XXXX XXXX XXXX multiple times with this information and no call back, left a XXXX review, the review was deleted. Called Credit Acceptance explained this information to them was advised there is nothing we can do, you still have to pay Called the warranty company XXXX XXXX was advised they can take a look at it, when asking what location they accept. Was advised they dont have any location list, and I was to find a location myself I asked how am I supposed to that. They advised I dont know Called credit acceptance back and advised them of warranty not being honored. Again was told that still has nothing to do with the amount you still owe and you have to pay While not being able to drive the car at all due to dangerous conditions, I was still paying my monthly bill. In XXXX my husband lost his job and was not able to pay full payments. Called Credit Acceptance and was advised I could pay {$100.00} today {$100.00} in 2 weeks leaving my balance at {$800.00} on XX/XX/XXXX but I could pay {$460.00} till its completely paid off. I paid {$500.00} towards my {$800.00} bill in XXXX but my online account did not reflect that payment stating I was late on my {$400.00} XXXX payment. I called Credit Acceptance and explain above and was told how I paid is wrong and they have no way of correcting the online account and I would still owe XXXX payment Not what our agreement was at all and now my bill for XX/XX/XXXX is {$1000.00}. The numbers are not matching at all. No emails of our conversation has been mailed, no care for the dangerous cask leak, no care for anything.

Subissue: Changes in terms mid-deal or after closing
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I went in to XXXX XXXX to purchase a XXXX XXXX from an online advertisement I seen. When I arreived there, an employee advised me that the XXXX XXXX that I was looking for was available but was not currently on the lot because the owner was currently using it as there personal vehicle. Once I heard this, I lost interest! I was then pointed to a XXXX XXXX XXXX, which this certain employee advised me was priced at {$9000.00}. I then said ok I want it! I was then taken inside to a actual dealer named " XXXX ''. XXXX began by asking me how much was I looking to put down? I advied him that I only had {$1000.00}, XXXX then made a face as if to say no. He then said {$2000.00} was the least that I could put down, I then advised XXXX that I did not have that amount of money at that time. XXXX then said ok, do you have {$1500.00}? I said no but I can get it, XXXX then said can you can drive off with this car right now if you can get me that {$1500.00} and then owe me {$500.00}. I told XXXX to give me a second, I then went into my phone and transferred $ XXXXout of my checking account. I then advised XXXX that I had the {$1500.00}, he said ok. He went on the computer for a couple of minutes looking for loan companies to finance the car. After about 5 minutes, XXXX advised that he had found a company name " CREDIT ACCEPTANCE '' to finance the car. XXXX said Credit acceptance would finance the car and my total would be around {$16000.00} and some change ; I agreed. While I was waiting, XXXX advised me to pay attention while he read the contract to me, when he was finished, XXXX motioned me to sign what he had just read to me Electronically. I signed without even thinking because this was my first car and I didn't know the ins and out about anything, so I just singed the papers Electronically, albeit under the impression that the loan agreement was for a total of {$16000.00} and some change. Once the deal was made I drove off of the lot happy thinking that this was a good deal, however, upon reviewing the contract with a family member, I was notified by that family member that my loan was for a total of {$36000.00}!!! And out of that {$36000.00}, XXXX was subtracted from it as a down payment on my part. As I've stated before, I only put {$1500.00} down as a down-payment. So as you can see, I was baffled by this and right away called XXXX XXXX for an explanation??? They gave none, I then called the loan company, and they advised me that it was nothing thry could do because I signed the contract. In conclusion I ask that this matter be looked into because this has cost me financial burdens, and I would like for this to be reversed and I be compensated for the money spent on this egregious loan.
