Consumer Complaint: The account that credit acceptance is reporting is identified as a ''repossession, yet they continue to report late payments. Since the vehicle is no longer in my possession, it would be impossible for me to default on payments after the fact. I have the right to an accurate credit file and discrepancies like this are unacceptable. Please immediately remove this account in its entirety from my credit file. A monthly payment should not exist after a repossession has occurred. They report the account later every month. I no longer have the car. They sold the car at an auction.

Consumer Complaint: I am disputing again for the investigation to be reprocessed. This was due to a data breach that resulted from I-9 files being compromised. I was not the person who made this transaction. Per credit acceptance I needed to submit proof of the data breach and new social security card that was part of the XXXX XXXX XXXX compensation package which I did and that evidence was not shown in the follow up to the original response # XXXX. I have a check from XXXX for reimbursement of the car ( before interest ) that was illegally taken out in my name from someone who used copies of identification and not the originals to purchase the car. This was a mutual agreement to prevent a lawsuit. Due to that situation a few weeks later the dealership has went out of business. I am attaching copies of the check, my new social security card that I had to obtain due to this as well as proof of the data breach. Credit acceptance stated all calls are monitored and recorded I would like a analysis done from calls coming from that account before XX/XX/2022 and copies to support my case if its needed to go to trial as well as trying to identify. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is the address of the rent office that all packages, delivery drivers, XXXX and any other forms of 3rd party communication goes too.

Consumer Complaint: Credit Acceptance Corporation is known for predatory lending. It has been 7 years since I've had an account with them ( XX/XX/XXXX ), the account is required by law to be removed. Credit Acceptance Corporation is still marking the " Closed '' auto loan as delinquent and has marked up the interest on the account +63 % of what the auto loan was originally for to this date ( XX/XX/XXXX ). I have been removed from any liability with this auto loan by a Arizona Superior Court Judge and will never make a payment on it. Last I checked, it is illegal to keep an item on a credit report forever. As of today it will be going on 7 years with each month a derogatory mark on my credit report. I am ready to go to court and settle this once and for all. I have disputed with Credit Acceptance, and all 3 credit bureaus with a response of " Account marked as accurate. '' With whom did they verify with? The creditor who has lost several lawsuits in the XXXX of millions for their credit reporting and predatory lending? That's invalid and doesn't hold water. After this complaint, I suggest that this be reported to the Arizona Attorney General 's Office to hold Credit Acceptance Corporation criminally liable for " Contempt of Court '', which is failing to adhere to the ruling of a sitting Judge.

Consumer Complaint: To whom it may concern, the purpose of my letter is to discuss the predatory lending practices of Credit Acceptance Corporation. I purchased a XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX XXXX located in XXXX Indiana. The loan documents were in a touch screen table. The employee going through the documents rushed through them and failed to discuss the {$1200.00} extended warranty that was added to the loan contract. About a week of having the vehicle I noticed it had been added. I called the dealership about this and was told the reason was because I did not put enough money down. Neither the sales representative nor the financing agent discussed this with me at the time I made the loan. In XXXX, I called asking to remove the extended warranty because I figured I had paid enough to no longer require it and was told by customer service that I wouldnt get a refund because the time was about to end for the 2 year warranty. I explained that I never wanted it and the reason why it to have my loan. The representative I spoke with said all I had to do was to call them and they would have removed it. So I was lied to and charged {$1200.00} at 22 % interest for a product that I did not request and was dishonestly added. Also, in XXXX the vehicle was repossessed, however there was no written communication from Credit Acceptance Corporation regarding the past due amount and what was required to bring my account current and their intent to repossess the car. The tow truck came and picked it up and was quickly moved to the XXXX auction lot. I redeemed the vehicle picking it up I discovered while it was in their possession the vehicle had been riffled through, the front passenger tire was flat and the spare tire kit was stolen. I started a new payment plan and although I was paying according to their terms they continued to report my account late to the credit bureaus. I recently filed a dispute with XXXX and they did not investigate the company fraudulent reporting, They accepted the creditors report but did not dig into their actual company policies. I have a 22 % interest rate I can not refinance because they refuse to correct the reporting

Consumer Complaint: I sent a letter to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, stating that in the " contract '' there were so many violation that I verified through 15 USC. I wasn't given the option to rescind, not documents were sent to me as the should pursuant to 15 USC 1635. The finance charge was disputed ad not being the sum of all charges as 15 USC 1605 was mentioned in letter. The contract states cash or credit not both. I paid a down payment of {$4000.00}. There is nothing on the contract about a cooling-off period, pursuant to 15 USC 1605 . The insurance was not included pursuant to 15 USC 1605. A email was received from XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) XX/XX/2022, asking me to discuss my concerns. My concerns were clear in the letter sent and I asked that she reply to the letter. I then received a closed alert from CFPB and a response from Credit Acceptance. I then sent a email to XXXX XXXX XXXX of Credit Acceptance on XX/XX/2022. I later received a call from Credit Acceptance legal department asking me to call them which I returned the call and was told me " letter ' was received and they were reviewing it. At this point in all of this, I have been abuse, discriminated against, lied on and also taken advantage of by Credit Acceptance Corporation.
