Consumer Complaint: hello, my name is XXXX XXXX XXXX and I want to inform you that this credit acceptance company I told you since the start of XXXX that I lost my job and that I could not make my payments, so after reaching an agreement, they never fulfilled that payment agreement, why? my account continued to have high interest and not being able to comply because of a relative my grandmother suffered from XXXX I had to travel to XXXX XXXX I had to stay there she did not ask to make the payments I came back and contacted them and explained what happened of everything they did not help me so I reached an agreement to pay XXXX but they did not want to close and eliminate that account from my credit report and make the agreement that we reached they continue to charge me and charge me every month charging interest that they are not supposed to do edi If I continue to charge my credit, I want them to eliminate that from my credit. Carrying out the agreement is making illegal charges like XXXX all the months are not helping me at all. and they investigate them, erase all that, I charge a skirt to the account, that they close it and rlimfn that account of my report, they never helped me with the situation of rl covid, my economic situation now because of my credit is affected

Consumer Complaint: credit acceptance incorrectly reporting late payments on my account. I was NEVER notified 30 or even 15 days before my payment date nor was I notified ON my payment date. Which is resulting in misinformation and low scores. Currently I had a joint account with my x wife & the information thats being report on my report and her report, about the same account appear to be reporting differently.. I called credit acceptance to get this matter resolved. But sadly could not. i was told it was my fault and the could not do anything about it. I file a complaint wit the XXXX Credit acceptance called and said that they will investigate. But investigation was just questioning my on the phone before telling me they could not do anything about it. so NOTHING as be resolved.

Consumer Complaint: I have a car lease with credit acceptance, I fell behind on my payments due to having XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX and being out of work. I was in contact with credit acceptance they said the only they could help me was to add the past due to the back end of my lease making my payment {$780.00}. My payments are also not getting reported that I pay or being allocated correctly and I can not get into another car or even turn in this car because of the way they report. When I make my payments its still showing that Im behind almost an year even though they added my behind payments into my lease, also I didnt sign a new contract for them to do that. They put my car into repo status and I still have my car. I have been in contact with credit acceptance on why they dont report on the months I make payments and they replied we just dont do that

Ive asked for extended temporary tags, as the car is still sitting because I never received my license plate or anything to register the car. I had the vehicle for 5 months never received anything for my vehicle to be registered. I gave the dealership and the bank my updated insurance and drivers license. A few days later I received XXXX letters from the back saying I have late payments on the vehicle all dates the same date and received on the same day with a rubber band around all the letters. I never received the money that was sent back to the dealership nor did I receive my car title.

Consumer Complaint: I have filed a complaint with Credit Acceptance Corporation and the complaint is open with CFPB awaiting the companies response. I was reached out to buy XXXX XXXX by telephone and email whom I did speak with and I think we resolved the credit reporting issue however now they have locked me out of my account and I can no longer see the loan status, payment status, early pay off amount or anything pertinent to my loan on there Website. I am ahead on my loan and paid up until XXXX or XXXX of 2023 and I'm not sure what there cooking up behind the scenes while I have been locked out of my account for simply opening a complaint with the CFPB but from all the complaints currently available to the public about this company they are very untrustworthy and I want it to come to a halt immediately. I was told by XXXX XXXX the Compliance Analyst that if I wanted to see my account information online again that I would need to cancel my initial complaint with the CFPB about there credit reporting tactics. What this company is doing is unlawful and I am protected as a consumer from these tactics so this is an easy problem to fix however I feel it is escalating and it does not need to when the loan is XXXX dollars away from being paid off.

Consumer Complaint: I am complaining because Credit acceptance has harassed me continuously. Ive asked multiple times since the pandemic started if my payments can be lowered due to me losing my job. I was mocked and humiliated because I was unable to make my payments on time. Every representative that I have spoken with has been rude. This company is refusing to lower my payments and is threatening repossession. They call me non stop and its causing XXXX XXXXXXXX I am getting back on my feet and would like the harassment to stop. I am a single mother trying the best I can and the representatives make me feel less than a person. Something has to be done about this immediately! Consumer Complaint: In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting, everything has to be 100 % accurate on my credit report. The Credit bureaus stated my account was properly investigation but how is that possible if the open date is inaccurate, the date last active is inaccurate, and date last reported is not accurate. This ground for removal. They also violated the law because according to : 15 U.S.C 1681 section 602 A States I have the right to privacy. 15 U.S.C. 1681 Section 604 A Section 2. It also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instructions. The credit bureaus never did a proper investigation according to the FCRA. Listed accounts : The term investigative consumer report means a consumer report or portion thereof in which information on a consumers character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or mode of living is obtained through personal interviews with neighbors, friends, or acquainted or who may have knowledge concerning any such items of information. They did not do this!! Also, they have violated my rights even more. In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting everything has to be 100 % accurate on my credit report. The credit bureaus stated my account was properly investigated but how is that? If the open date inaccurate, the date last activity is inaccurate, amount inaccurate, and date last reported inaccurate. This is a violation and grounds for immediate removal.
