Consumer Complaint: I got approved for this car loan on XX/XX/XXXX I purchased my car the same day from XXXX XXXX, I returned the car to the creditor CreditAcceptance a few months later due to expensive mechanical issues. The car was sold on XX/XX/XXXX for XXXX but this creditor never contacted me to inform me about how much would it be the difference to pay for me to close this account and get it off of my credit. I found out they sold the car 7-8 months later after hundreds of call I basically spoke with the whole creditor company. i also requested the creditor to adjust that money they got for the car sale to my account but they instead offer me a suspicious 80 % percent discount of this bill and keep reporting late payments on my credit report when I actually owe them nothing I was also told they had a few action market fees but I still dont get why my bill is XXXX when the money they got for the car covered the money I owed to the creditor I have requested and I keep requesting a sale receipt for me to dispute this but the company refuses to send me this receipt all they keep saying is that they send it to my address but I dont be getting any mail from credit acceptance I needed it to prove the credit bureaus my statements. I disputed it to the credit bureau but my results wasnt positive due to the Creditor says my bill is accurate but this creditor hasnt sent me my car sale receipt yet.

This is not a refusal to pay, but a notice that this account is disputed. This vehicle was return by XXXX XXXX XXXX & XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX in the state of New Jersey on XX/XX/XXXX and resold XX/XX/XXXX Under the laws of the states of New Jersey UCC 9.506 and state XXXX and XXXX statutes, a deficiency can not be determined or claimed unless all of the required notices were properly and timely given, and all+of the allowable redemption and cure time limits were adhered to. Please provide copies of the legal notices and PROOF of the commercially reasonable manner of the resale of the subject vehicle.If no such proof is provided within 14 days from receipt of this notice, the alleged claim of a deficiency will be considered null and void, and any continued collection activities, or continued reporting of this invalid claim on my credit report will be considered a violation of the FDCPA and FCRA. In addition, if you singularly or severally fail to comply with the above request, I reserve the right to seek damages against all parties, under all available state and federal stabites and UCC? 9 remedies. Consumer Complaint: Credit Acceptance Account Number- XXXX I financed a XXXX XXXX XXXX from this company back in XX/XX/XXXX. This vehicle was involved in a hit and run back in XX/XX/XXXX. I purchased gap insurance. The insurance company made a payment of {$7900.00}. Gap insurance was suppose to cover the remaining of the vehicle. They requested a police report which I submitted a partial police report because the investigation was on going because the person who hit my vehicle led the police on a chase and somehow was able to flee the police. So the police report was never finish. This company closed out my gap claim and now for 2+ years have been reporting my account past due. I contacted them to see if they could reopen Gap claim to cover charges and company denied my request. This account has negatively impacted my credit score. The account remains open until today reporting 120 days past due each month which is inaccurate reporting. I am unable to purchase another car or a home because of this account. Thank you for ruining my credit after I purchase gap for this particular reason and it didnt fall through for me.

Consumer Complaint: Purchased at XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX 4 months later at XXXX miles I took the vehicle for a oil change to the car store as well as to identify an additional problem an change was preformed on the vehicle was returned to me I made it XXXX mile and the vehicle broke down I only had the vehicle XXXX months at this time and put just less than XXXX miles when I returned it for a oil change and a possible XXXX XXXX XXXX and scheduled a appt to return the vehicle for service they car store applied for this loan and was paid a large amount of money for a vehicle that lasted 4 months I continue to pay this loan until recently and have heard nothing from the car store to justify they why they were paid and now didnt care and this XXXX XXXX struggling to make it now has no car and is liable for a loan for a vehicle I havent had since XXXX months after purchase please help tried to beg this man XXXX XXXX for any help and he continues to note this is my fault I also purchased all additional warranties to also help make sure I wouldnt be with out a vehicle I dont know what to do or ask for help but this will effect my future when trying to make any other cars or housing in the future
