Consumer Complaint: In the debt collection agency receiving my account information, I set up autopay to get the account paid off in a timely manner. There have been multiple issues with them not taking scheduled authorized payments then taking multiple payments at once. XX/XX/2022 and XX/XX/2022 are around the dates these issues have happened. Being they took no payments in XXXX, I am having to pay the rest of the account in full.

Subissue: Account information incorrect
Consumer Complaint: After reviewing my credit profile on XX/XX/XXXX. I identified a discrepancy with account listed under Convergent Outsourcing and validation was request as this was an account that I did not recognize.I recieve a billing that look like someone just created it. They didnt provide me with the accurate paperwork. I reviewed my credit report again on XX/XX/XXXX and the account continues to reflect on my credit report and I have not received the correct correspondence from the creditor to validate this account as correctly belonging to me, nor has my credit report been updated to reflect that the account is disputed and therefore a 2nd validation letter was sent out. After reviewing credit report again there has not been any updates and this account is still reflecting on the report. This creditor is keep re aging this account so the statute of limitations can start over which is a violation of my rights. Please delete this account from my credit report for being false reported.

Consumer Complaint: I switched phone companies XX/XX/XXXX so I was no longer able to access my XXXX XXXX Account, I went to a store to pay off my final XXXX balance on XX/XX/XXXX of {$200.00} I was assured twice that i would no longer have a XX/XX/XXXX bill so I asked for a paper stating I no longer had any future bills and the employee said he was unable to open my account since it was closed and paid but he was able to print the XXXX receipt so I received that. I later received an email saying on XX/XX/XXXX stating i had a past due balance of {$180.00} so I called XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX since I couldnt log into my account to see the charges and I let them know I recording for my own assurance so i have i conversation where they stated my balance was {$0.00} they apologized and said it must be a mistake. The next month I received another email on stating i had a past due balance of {$180.00} so i called XX/XX/XXXX and again let them know i was recording the conversation since i didnt want any future problems and again i was assured i had a balance of {$0.00}. I later would receive texts of a screenshot stating it was a debt collector for XXXX which i found odd so ignored it since it looked like a scam. On XX/XX/XXXX i checked my XXXX score and it showed I had a balance on my XXXX account so it was negatively impacting my XXXX score so i chatted with a XXXX employees on their chat so id have physical proof and they once again assured me i had a {$0.00} balance and that they would contact the credit bureaus so i could rest assured it would be taken care of. On XX/XX/XXXX i found out a few days after that conversation the account was in collections since i received a letter regarding the debt i called the collections agency on XX/XX/XXXX telling them i was recording for my records and i explained the situation and that XXXX said it was taken care of which they responded to by saying they were unaware of that. I told them id call XXXX to again try to fix it so i called XXXX after hanging up i got transferred multiple times until i was then transferred to the collections agency which when i gave them my account number to they couldnt find the account. I found that odd and they asked for my social which i didnt feel comfortable giving so they transferred me once more to the same agency just else where and they found the account and I basically said i was trying to speak to XXXX about my account and ended up back on the phone with the collections agency and i told them i want to dispute the debt. They said okay and then i never heard back from them. Today is XX/XX/XXXX and I saw it is still coming up on my credit. At the time I was unaware of being able to ask for proof of debit so i disputed directly with XXXX today XX/XX/XXXX and under the debt with XXXX it says I was able to report it here so here I am.
