Consumer Complaint: Hello, I never received any communication from this company. I didn't receive anything via mail or phone call. I found out about this collection account until it was already reported to my credit report. I tried to contact the collection company to address this and they were not helpful. How could they have reported this to my credit report without allowing me the opportunity to pay it before it went into my permanent report?

Consumer Complaint: The original debt owed was less than {$200.00} from XXXX. The debt was paid, however, a small balance of roughly a few dollars remained because the agent paid it off incorrectly. This balance was transferred to a collection agency for around {$1000.00}. I disputed the debt and got it taken off as they acknowledged it was a false debt. Since then, somehow the current collection agency has purchased the debt and the debt is now somehow over {$2300.00}

Consumer Complaint: I have received a letter from convergent XXXX to collect a debt from XXXX for XXXX USD. I contacted XXXX as soon as I received their invoice and told them that this was an error. I spent a total of 1hr 30 minutes on the line with them the first time to be told that they agree that this is an error but for some issues with their system they can not clear the amount. They assured me that they would put notes in the account and that this was resolved from their side only for me to receive letters from this debt collection agency. The call I refer too was made on the XXXX of XX/XX/2022. I called them again after receiving this letter but could not complete the conversation after 30 minutes as the lines got disconnected as they usually do when they do not wan to solve these problems. Background I transferred 3 out of 4 lines from XXXX to another service provider in XXXX this year and paid them an amount XXXX XXXX which was outstanding and for contract closure. 3 of these 4 lines were ported to a new service provider and the 4th was to be cancelled. Due to an error on their part they suspended the 4 line instead of cancelling it and kept billing me for that 1 line. I have clarified this with them a few times and they have also agreed to this assuring me that the account notes will take care of this issue because their system can not. I do not owe them any money and should be compensated for spending my valuable time on resolving this ( 2-3 hrs. so far ) because of the threat of getting my credit score impacted.
