Consumer Complaint: A XXXX XXXX account has went into collection in XXXX of 2022. Stating I owed {$120.00} and was past due. I have contacted and went into the stores to sort this out and all times I have contacted them they confirmed that this account was suppose to be closed off. From then, I disputed and the account still shows as collection on my credit report. I was told that it was going to be settled and taken care of but never happened. Its been 9 months now that it still shows as a collection is a negatively impacting my credit.

Consumer Complaint: I am disputing an unpaid collection of {$880.00} on behalf of XXXX. The company that is charged to collecting the debt is Convergent Outsourcing last reported XX/XX/XXXX. The debt is showing on my credit report and the debt has been duplicated with another agency as well reporting to the credit bureau on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XX/XX/XXXX I made successful payment arrangements with XXXX XXXX the other agency also charged with settling the unpaid collection of {$1600.00} on behalf of XXXX to resolve the debt. I have only XXXX with XXXX. The account was opened in XXXX to XXXX. I do not understand why this collection is showing on my credit report from XXXX companies, different account balances, and both companies representing XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: Hello XXXX, I was a customer of XXXX for numbers XXXX and XXXX from XXXX till XXXX and I moved cellular providers to XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX for which I have an email from both XXXX confirming my new XXXX and an email from XXXX confirming that my plan was cancelled. XXXX repeatedly charged me from XXXX to XXXX for an amount of {$600.00} when i was not using their services. I have had multiple phone calls with XXXX and a case logged where they told me the issue would be resolved. The next thing i received is a collection bill from XXXX which is now reported to a collection agency and has already hit my credit report as a delinquency. I am in the process of buying a house and this is now impacting my ability to be a homeowner. Consumer Complaint: A bill for XXXX XXXX from XXXX for approximately {$340.00} was paid in full. Three times collection agencies attempted to collect this paid debt. Each time the companies had to remove the debt collection from my record as I don't owe the debt. Approximately a week ago, I was notified by my credit report companies that there was a new debt collection account on my record by a company called Convergent. I never received a letter from them to date. However they already put the account on my credit reporting as a collections account, thus tanking my credit score. I filed this same complaint ( ID : XXXX ) on XX/XX/XXXX against XXXX XXXX XXXX for attempting to collect on the same account, which was verified as paid in full back in XXXX and they apologized and removed it from my credit reports immediately. I spoke with this new company, Convergent, one time. They verified that they never sent a letter to me despite having my correct address stating they 'preferred " to handle accounts over the phone. I spoke with a representative and then a supervisor, who was rude, unhelpful and argued with me when I tried to explain you can't not send a letter and turn my account over to my credit reporting companies. They didn't care and kept pushing me to settle the account " for far less money than what I owed. '' Please see attached documents regarding previous complaints regarding this account. Thank you

Consumer Complaint: Convergent Outsourcing , Inc. has been repeatedly calling me for at least a year now as well as sending letters in the mail. The calls have come in before XXXX XXXX and continue throughout the day. This happens several times a week, at times going over the 7 calls per 7 day limit as per FDCPA policy. I have also received numerous letters in the mail. I am a XXXX who suffers from XXXX, and these calls cause me constant XXXX to the point I turn my phone off or mute it, which disrupts my day. Consumer Finance states the following on their website : The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) says debt collectors can't harass, oppress, or abuse you or anyone else they contact. Harassment by a debt collector can come in different forms. Examples include repetitious phone calls that are intended to annoy, abuse, or harass you or any person answering the phone ; obscene or profane language ; threats of violence or harm ; publishing lists of people who refuse to pay their debts ( this does not include reporting information to a credit reporting company ) ; and calling you without telling you who they are. Convergent Outsourcing , Inc. has been repetitiously calling me with the intent to annoy and harass me. For this reason I will not call them or engage, as I do not feel safe or comfortable doing so giving their actions towards me. This is affecting my credit.

Consumer Complaint: Received a letter on XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX stating I owed XXXX {$7100.00} I responded to that letter with a VERIFICATION OF DEBT. Verification of debt was never received nor was any other correspondence. Another letter was received over a year later on XX/XX/XXXX, from a new debt collector CONVERGENT OUTSOURCING INCXXXX requesting the same amount {$7100.00} I responded to that with a similar letter requesting to get DEBT VALIDATED. Today XX/XX/XXXX, I received another letter from CONVERGENT OUTSOURCING INC. requesting that I provide the following : 1. Complete affidavit 2. Copy of driver 's license 3. Police Report 4. Consumer Complaint: This is my official Notice of Dispute. I am a federally protected consumer and I am concerned that this account may be a direct violation of my rights to privacy by violating the fair credit reporting act, Gramm Leach Bliley Act. According to 15 usc 1681a ( d ) ( 2 ) ( A ) ( i ) information relating to transactions and experiences are excluded from consumer reports, according to 15 usc 1681s-3 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( B ) consumers should be allowed to prohibit solicitation in regards to marketing and the sharing of such information. I, the consumer have never received an option to prohibit XXXX XXXXXXXX and its affiliates solicitations and never gave any direct consent to solicit any consumer reports.
