Consumer Complaint: After reviewing my credit profile on XX/XX/2022 I identified discrepancy with account listed under Convergent Outsourcing and validation was requested as this was an account that I did not recognize. I reviewed my credit report again on XX/XX/2022 and the account continues to reflect on my credit report and I have not received any correspondence from creditor to validate this account as correctly belonging to me, nor has my credit report been updated to reflect that the account is disputed and therefore a 2nd validation letter was sent out on this day. After reviewing credit report again on XX/XX/2022 there have been no updates and account is still reflecting on the report. I do not believe the account belongs to me nor do I believe that the creditor has authorization to access the account nor authorization to attempt to collect on the account and the account continues to negatively affect me. Please strike and remove this account from all 3 credit bureaus until adequate validation has been received proving that the account belongs to me, and all information is correct.

Consumer Complaint: I saw a collection account on my credit report from Convergent Outsourcing for {$120.00}. The debt showed that it was for XXXX and I still had an active XXXX account. I called XXXX to see if I owed them anything, since no letters were ever received from XXXX, and they told me no. My account is up to date and I have {$0.00} balance. Since then I started a long journey of trying to remove the collection account from my credit. I called Convergent Outsourcing more than 100 times since I started and every time they told me I have to pay and would just hang up. I was able to get to a higher department and we had a 3-way call with XXXX where XXXX collection dept confirmed I did not owe anything. However, they said they did not care and I still owe the money. I was out of options as they are very rude every time you call them and do not want to cooperate with me at all. On XX/XX/2022 I sent an oficial debt validation letter to Convergent Outsourcing and received NO response at all. At this point they are breaking the law Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA and I am demanding for this collection account to be removed from all 3 of my credit bureaus.

XXXX sold This account I guess this year in 2022 and they have called me about this debt that I specifically do not owe. At this point it is fraudulent and action is going to be taken as this is affecting my credit and my life.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, my name is XXXX XXXX, and I'm writing to request your help in contacting this company. I attempted to contact them in order to see why someone had created an account in my name. This is a serious matter, and I'm disappointed that it's now having an effect on my credit score. I do not give anyone permission to use my name, date of birth, or any other personal information since it violates Data Privacy. They must determine who started the account in my name and simply transfer the information to that person. Kindly help me in fixing this issue.

XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX RE : Account # : XXXX To Whom It May Concern : Be advised this is not a refusal to pay, but a notice that your claim is disputed and validation is requested. Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), I have the right to request validation of the debt you say I owe you. I am requesting proof that I am indeed the party you are asking to pay this debt, and there is some contractual obligation that is binding on me to pay this debt. This is NOT a request for verification or proof of my mailing address, but a request for VALIDATION made pursuant to 15 USC 1692g Sec. 809 ( b ) of the FDCPA. I respectfully request that your office provides me with competent evidence that I have any legal obligation to pay you. Consumer Complaint: Convergent Outsourcing Inc has reported I owe {$2100.00} on XXXX of 2022 from a XXXX account which has been reported as fraud and closed. I have written proof it was a fraudulent account. The day after reporting this, Convergent raised the amount by XXXX dollar, which was another hit to my credit. Previously the collections was XXXX XXXX, I believe for the same amount of {$2100.00} which was reported here a couple of years ago and closed. I have never done business with XXXX and I feel Convergent Outsourcing has my information and is using it for nefarious means. Raising the amount by XXXX dollar after being reported to XXXX, even stating that my documentation was verified as true and accurate. I have attached said paperwork and a picture of my correspondence with XXXX stating the account has been closed and to cease all collections.

Consumer Complaint: This collection of debt is incorrect. I have never received any notices from this company. I have photos & videos of this service being disconnected because of damage from a hurricane named Delta on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. The service was never turned back on because no one was living in this house. The house was moved off our property XX/XX/XXXX. This company was unlawfully charging me for a monthly service of electricity from the XX/XX/XXXX until XX/XX/XXXX. I've contacted this utility company multiple times without any response. I've tried to dispute and have heard nothing back. I have tried logging into Convegents website and it always says information doesnt match. On XX/XX/XXXX i contacted an agent from Convergent ( XXXX XXXX & she stated she can not explain why i can not log on and see my charges. This is not the only disputes this company has in our city. They have been on the news multiple times for charging people that were not connected. Im not sure what my next step is. This is the only derogatory mark on my credit. Any help is greatly appreciated.
