Consumer Complaint: I closed my account with XXXX and was told by the rep what my final bill was and paid it. A short time later I got a bill from XXXX for {$450.00} with no explanation as to the charges. I called XXXX and they could not access my account to tell me what the bill was for. As far as I'm concerned, the final bill the rep gave me when I closed the account was all I owed XXXX. The next thing I knew I was getting letters from a collection agency. The very first letter stated that if I responded by a certain date, they would not report the collection. A response was mailed weeks before that date and they have now placed that collection on my credit report. They never answered that letter. They sent a second letter with additional charges on it with no explanation of what those charges were for. I've repeatedly asked for details of what the XXXX charge was for and what their charges were for. I have yet to receive a response. Then Convergent offered to settle for 80 % of the increased amount ( that had no explanation ). The original bill was {$450.00}. I want this bill erased. XXXX had charged my card after the account was closed. I reported it to my bank who agreed the charge was not valid and returned the money to my account. I paid the final amount I was told was due at the time I closed my account. They aren't entitled to anything else. I also want this collection removed from my account and Convergent held responsible for failure to reply to XXXX requests for information.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2022 To Those Involved : This letter is to formally request an investigation into XXXX XXXX Account Number XXXX. This XXXX XXXX account was opened on XX/XX/2022. The home internet equipment provided at that time was installed but failed to operate as promised. Internet reception was below 2G, which is unacceptable. XXXX XXXX was immediately notified of this and customer service representatives were reassuring that additional equipment would remedy the reception problem. Around 10 days later, new XXXX XXXX equipment arrived. After installing the new, add-on equipment, internet reception beyond 2G was never achieved. Upon request, XXXX XXXX Account XXXX XXXX was closed and customer service representatives stated there would be no charges to the account due to XXXX XXXX equipment and service failures. All equipment was returned to XXXX Store Manager XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2022. On XX/XX/2022, XXXX XXXX withdrew a payment of {$50.00} through XXXX XXXX autopay XXXX a charge XXXX XXXX has been disputing since XX/XX/2022. Subsequently, a XXXX XXXX bill for {$0.00} was received and marked final bill without mention of any other charges. Numerous and lengthy conversations with XXXX customer service representatives yielded various inaccurate, misleading, and confusing information about this situation and how to deal with it. On XX/XX/XXXX, a letter received from XXXX XXXX threatened to turn the account to collections for a payment of {$50.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX, a collections notice from Convergent Outsourcing , Inc., a debt collection agency, was received and requested a payment of {$50.00}. Note that the XXXX XXXX account originated less than 60 days ago. It was closed more than 45 days ago. This type of mail should not be sent until XXXX XXXX has resolved its charges under dispute. Paying for services intended but not rendered would seem an admittance of fault that could potentially open doors for further liabilities such as late fees, penalties and, as of now, an attempt to collect through a debt agency. Unfortunately, XXXX has shown itself to be a thoughtless, uncaring and predatory business. XXXX XXXX will continue to dispute the {$50.00} autopay charge. The charge of {$0.00} needs further explanation and elimination. Such business practices are beyond reasonable comprehension. They are punishing. Consumer Complaint: I have never had an account with this company, I've never heard of them. If this is my debt why have I never received a bill to my address that I've lived at for the last 16 years. I have had the same energy company which is XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX. I feel this is an identity fraud, I reached out to this company by phone and I finally got an answer first it's not a professional business. Said they have no account under my name, then after I gave my phone number she says oh oh wait I found it. She then transfer me without telling me that line rung 15 times then hung up. If this is my account I would like to know under who name, what address was it used for and something a bill showing I ordered this service. I'm upset with XXXX because I have a membership and I feel they didn't research it enough to leave on my account. It was 2 accounts which were from this same company 1 bill for XXXX and the other XXXX. Please research this company it is definitely a fraud attempt. I have no documents because I never had this service.
