Consumer Complaint: I switched carriers since XXXX was not capable and did not had the resources to provide services to XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX requested the final statement, yet. the company instead sent the balance to a collection agency which contacted me since before XXXX XXXX in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. The company did not sent a final billing statement for charges, in violation of the XXXX XXXX Billing Act, and the debt collection agency never identified as such and made threats. The account was not even 30 days pending, the account was never refused to be paid, and was not paid on the moment of transferring the lines because the company was not capable of reproducing a billing statement. I am asking the agency to assume jurisdiction and apply all punishable measures by law to the company and its debt collection agencies.

Consumer Complaint: I've tried reasoning with both XXXX and the credit company now. Neither will accept fault and remove this error. Here is the full story. I transferred my phone number ( XXXX area code ) into XXXX XXXX XXXX under a brand new account. The representative on the line apparently opened up two brand new separate accounts without my knowledge. They tied my XXXX phone number to one account, and created a brand new phone number for the XXXX account. So now, there are two accounts under my social security number created on the same date. I am only aware of one. I go about my life and pay my bill as I normally would, without any indication or request to pay for the 2nd account. Eventually I receive a letter in from collections stating I havent paid my XXXX account, but when I log in my account is paid in full, on time. I've contacted XXXX and spoken to multiple departments. I've explained my story. They understood my issue and admitted fault, but said they can not reverse or cancel the error. They will not contact the credit company and fix this mess. I contacted the credit company and explained the situation. They ackowledge that this isnt my fault and XXXX should fix, but will not remove the error from my account. Nobody is helping me. My credit has taken a hit. This debt is going to be on my account for the next 7 years. XXXX is stealing money from me. This is not fair. I need some sort of help, please. Specific details : The correct account number : XXXX ( PAID IN FULL AND CORRECT ) The account in collections : XXXX ( WHO MADE THIS? I did not authorize the creation of two accounts. The representative is trying to scam me )
