Consumer Complaint: So I have a coinbase account and one day I recieved a email saying my way to open my account thru a picture was approved, I found that odd because I never asked for a XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX to be approved. So I contacted coinbase and told them that I thought my account was hacked, so they told me that they were temporarily freezing my account and some one would be getting back to me in 5-7 days, I thought ok that sounds fine considering that I have over {$5000.00} in my account, well that was over two months ago, you can not reach them by phone, I have emailed over a dozen times and every time I get the exact same email back saying they are reviewing my account and someone will get backto me in 5-7 days, this is outrageous, they have stole my money and I would like it back, please help XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX Fl, XXXX XXXX

I can't access my funds at all, and every single time I file a support ticket they tell me that the issue has been escalated and to wait 4-5 business days only to never hear back and to get no response to my emails.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021 I was a victim of a Phishing scam text which I have reported to my phone service banking institution as well as my local police department. The scammers were able to access my Coinbase account and purchase XXXX dollars worth of XXXX coin which I or my bank had not authorized due to unavailable funds in my bank account. However Coinbase pay the scammers through 5 transactions a total of XXXX dollars to an undisclosed wallet. I have been on Coinbase website to resolve the issue however with no avail. Coinbase seized my crypto portfolio I had stores on their exchange in repayment for the money they released to the scammer since my banking institution refused the transaction and they have locked me out of my access to my remaining assets. I have a current police report and investigation ongoing along with my phone service claiming I was part of a scam.. Please help me if you can!

Consumer Complaint: According to Coinbase, on the XXXX of XX/XX/2021 at a transaction that XXXX XXXX a transaction that I made did not go through, and I owe them a Balance of XXXX GBP. Coinbase states that if this balance is not settled within 5 Working days that this amount will be withdrawn automatically from my account. In the meantime all assets have been frozen. It has now been 6 working days and that amount has not been taken to settle this balance. When I first noticed this issue on the XXXX of XXXX I immediately tried to pay the balance off. Although, I have no clue why it was there in the first place. I used my XXXX Wallet on Coinbase, which has a balance of XXXX, so more than enough to settle the score. Coinbase says it is unable to process my payment and to try a different method. I have tried also using my XXXX Wallet, XXXX Wallet, XXXX Wallet, and every time Coinbase says it can not accept my payment. I contacted customer support on the XXXX of XXXX explaining the issue, to which they sent me a generic response at XXXX on XXXX XX/XX/2021. I immediately responded stating that they had not properly read my grievance, and sent them screenshots to illustrate the problem. They responded at XXXX stating that my Case ( # : XXXX ) was transfered to a specialist to help with the issue. It is one week later and I have not heard back. I have contacted them on the XXXX, XXXX, and today the XXXX of XXXX to no response via email. In between the XXXX of XXXX and today the XXXX of XXXX, I have gone on to Coinbase multiple times a day to try and make the payment, each time it does not work and gives me the same response " try a different payment method. '' During this period of my assets being frozen, I have been unable to buy or sell my assets, and have missed ample market opportunities. I've also tried contacting Coinbase Support Team via XXXX today the XXXX of XX/XX/2021, to which they responded stating they have notified a 'Specialist ' to handle my case. This is unacceptable, and as far as i'm concerned, market manipulation.

Consumer Complaint: Good Morning, I have a problem with the Coinbase cryptocurrency platform, it turns out that on XX/XX/2021, Coinbase sent me an email indicating that my account is under review and that it will last a few days, the problem is that I have the account under review and without being able to operate with it for 84 days, I wrote to them several times to be able to consult how my review is and they only tell me that they have many review requests and that they will advance my review to be able to leave my operational account, but I still can not operate. I have all my data updated and in Coinbase it appears to me that I am correctly identified at the highest level. In total I sent 3 emails throughout these 84 days that I have been with the blocked account. In the account I have access and I can see my balance, but it does not allow me to buy, sell or exchange cryptocurrencies and it is very sad because as a result of not being able to operate I lost almost XXXX euros by not being able to sell.
