Consumer Complaint: opened a coinbase account and made {$100.00} in purchases. Coinbase attempted 5x {$25.00} withdrawls on XX/XX/XXXX, following by 2x {$25.00} on XX/XX/XXXX causing multiple overdraft charges. I've tried over and over since XX/XX/XXXX to get clarity from them on why they attempted the unauthorized withdraws and my support ticket continues to be someone is looking into it each time I ask for an update. It's going on 3 months now and it appears they have no intention of resolving the issue.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021 at XXXX I received a call from Coinbase customer service ( See call log attached from initial complaint ). The rep stated that there was suspicious activity attempted on my account. At that point I told the rep to disable my account. After my account was disable, It took over 21/2 Months for Coinbase to allow me access to my account. They stated that at XXXX unautherized transactions were made from transferring out ( At today 's value over $ XXXX in crypto from my account ). They stated that someone sent a text message and was able to gain access/clone my account to access my login, password and 2 factor authentication. My two factor authenitaction is XXXX XXXX which changes every 30-45 seconds. TO gain access to this app my phone/SIM card would need to have been Cloned. I confirmed with my service provider XXXX XXXX XXXX that my acoount was NOT clone. They stated that if that happend, my service would have 100 % been interrupted and I would have had to go into the XXXX XXXX XXXX service center to restore my service, I DID NOT HAVE ANY SERVICE INTERRTION ON MY PHONE!. In addition, Coinbase stated that the call a received from their number was not them, that the Hacker cloned their number and called my to inquire about suspicious activity on my account THREE hours AFTER that took my crypto, which makes NO sense. 1. I have confirmed with XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX that there was not suspicous access to my phone at ANY point 2. COntacting XXXX, of which Im sure they will confirm that the method that Coinbase stated my account was accessed that they could not have accessed my XXXX That only leaves that my Account was hacked from the Coinbase Network which I know they claim their network has Never been hacker to get customer info. The reality is that their findings on how my account was compromised is NOT true. I am want Coinbase to RESTORE every Crypto that was taken from my account because my account was NOT compromised from my end!!

Consumer Complaint: On Monday XX/XX/2021, I received an e-mail from Coinbase stating my account was closed. They stated that I can transfer all of my balances to external wallet. I logged in to transfer my balances but noticed that my XXXX balance of nearly XXXX coins XXXX or around {$130000.00} at the time of this message ) was not shown. I attached screenshots of the same. I have contacted the Coinbase Support on same day via Case # XXXX and got unhelpful responses ( see attached e-mail exchange ). I have reached to Coinbase via XXXX and XXXX as well, without any replies. I've made USD to NU trades on XX/XX/2021 and XX/XX/2021 for a total of about XXXX coins

Consumer Complaint: I received a call on my phone, with the caller ID as Coinbase. The message that was left said that my account was exposed to suspicious hacking activities. So with XXXX in USD of being in my crypto wallet. I emailed coin base now coin base customer services does not have any live people to talk to, its all via email This was the first red flag this I came across, but being nervous about the safety of my funds. I followed the instructions provided on their website. These instructions were to temporary lock the account. So, after that I was instructed by a generic email reply, not personal. Evidently, a auto reply that everyone gets from coin base to reset their password and set up a two-step verification. So I did as such, at that time I received another auto reply type of email saying that your account is now being handled by a specialist, allow 4 to 5 business days. This was on XX/XX/XXXX and the account still hasnt been unlocked, nor has anyone from coinbase has come back to contact me. I have sent numerous emails, but continue to get the same automated generated reply and no help in unlocking my account, granting me access to my funds.

Consumer Complaint: I have been contacting Coinbase for 3 months now and they never get back to me. Ive tried emailing them from multiple accounts like Coinbase Pro and regular coinbase and they always say they are going to get back to me, but they dont. They merged my email outreaches and they still have not gotten back to me. This is fraud as they have kept my money and not given it to me. I have not been able to withdraw my money from my account. It says withdrawal pending and ETH network blocked for months and I never got the money. I am upset and want the money I earned back.

Consumer Complaint: on XX/XX/XXXX I got a text about my coinbase account, fely suspicios so I called coinbase and locked out my account.Since then I requested help to get back into my account from there support team.I have got responses that they would get in touch within 4-6 days yet nothing.They gave me a case number to refer to, I have wrote them approximately 20-25 times, yet have not received any help.Ive wrote them on coinbase, XXXX, XXXX, etc asking to please help as I have a large amount of money in the coinbase exchange.I contacted the sec which said I should also contact you guys.Not sure what I need to do in order to get a response and some help from coinbase.
