I have a large amount of cryptocurrencies stored at Coinbase, and still do not have access to my account. I have kept the sequence of email thread along with all money transactions at Coinbase. Consumer Complaint: Coinbase Inc has held my money hostage for over three months without any resaon or any end in sight. I had my account restricted in XXXX which means I can not buy, sell, or trade any of my crypto currencies on coinbase.com. They have not given me a reason why they restricted my account and refuse to communicate any info as to how to remedy the situation. I have also filed a support ticket and issued a formal complaint and still nothing. I currently have XXXX dollars worth of crypto and am in desperate need of my funds. I have sent documents to confirm my identity and still they say nothing.They have also issued me a coinbase visa card and as soon as I try to use it they say I am not permitted. Please help me.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021 I went to log in to my Coinbase account and got a " Your account has been temporarily disabled '' message. I immediately went to their support site and filed case XXXX. Since then I have filed about 20 new cases. I've followed all the automated response directions. I've reached out to every employee I can find on XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. I've filed complaints with the SEC and FTC. I have lost XXXX XXXX XXXX of dollars in potential gains as the market has risen and fallen over the months. Coinbase has NO support options. No one you can talk to. As a publicly traded company I can not imagine how they are getting away with this. Can you imagine having no access to your XXXX XXXX account for 4 months with zero support available? I'm not rich and realize that crypto currency is a bit of a gamble but what should not be a gamble is having access to your account and funds. Filing a complaint here in the hopes that anything can be done. Thank you very much for your service!

Consumer Complaint: In an attempt to withdraw funds from Coinbase Pro due to the absolutely pathetic Coinbase customer service ( I filed an additional CFPB complaint due to the company erroneously stealing my money by placing a trade that I did not authorize ), I sold my cypto assets ( XXXX, XXXX, XXXX ) and converted them to USDs prior to transferring the USDs to my regular Coinbase account. Due to my prior issues with Coinbase, I had to reset my account email address to an old email account ( XXXX ) rather than my active, preferred email address ( XXXX ). When attempting to log onto Coinbase, I was asked for two-form authentication. I have never performed such authentication with past deposits or withdrawals from Coinbase. To make matters worse, the old email address I now am forced to use on the account is no longer active. I filed an inquiry/complaint online, as this awful company requires, and I have yet to hear back over the past week. Once again, Coinbase 's blatant disregard for customer service has kept me from MY money. It's truly criminal that there is no expeditious mechanism for getting access to my own wealth. I truly hope the CFPB cracks down on this pathetic company, and I vow to never use this platform ever again once I have obtained my funds.

Consumer Complaint: I have my money stuck in Coinbase and I recently complained to them that I need to change the Link bank account on my profile but all i keep getting from them is this ( We've reviewed your Coinbase account and determined that you're no longer eligible to use the Coinbase platform. This includes purchasing cryptocurrency, depositing into Coinbase, sending cryptocurrency off of Coinbase, and linking new payment methods ) I have a lot of money in the coinbase and they won't let me withdraw my money. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/21 I made a {$1900.00} withdrawal from my Coinbase account to my bank account. On XX/XX/21, this withdrawal posted to my bank account as expected. However, on XX/XX/21, I get an email that this withdrawal failed and a credit was posted to my Coinbase account. I did not realize that the XX/XX/21 withdrawal actually posted, so on XX/XX/21 I tried to withdraw again. Coinbase realized that there was an issue with ACH transfers on this day, and took the {$1900.00} credit back on the account, resulting in them selling some of my assets and leaving me with a negative USD balance. They then proceeded to lock my account, asking for me to pay back what I owe. They aren't telling me how much I owe, and they are keeping my assets for ransom. They are not responding to any of my customer service emails

Consumer Complaint: Good morning, In XX/XX/XXXX I have created an account on Coinbase to start buying and selling crypto-currencies. To achieve that I was requested to upload all the necessary documents to prove my identity and validate my account. All was done properly and since then in XX/XX/XXXX I have been using the account without any problem. All this time ( from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX ) the account was ok and I was able to operate and perform different purchases that I still have currently on my Coinbase wallet ( around XXXX $ ). But since XX/XX/XXXX, I got a message on my account saying that my account is under review and I'm not able to operate at all with this money. It's not possible to buy, sell, withdraw, transfer or perform absolutely any kind of operations except to view your balance. All this time, since XX/XX/XXXX, I was trying to get a solution from the Coinbase Support without absolutely any kind of proper solution or explanation. The best replay I get was something like : " We are working on your review and we appreciate your patience and understanding ''. I didn't get any estimate of the time required to complete the process, not either an explanation about why they started this process or how can I accelerate or help to complete the process. Unfortunately the Coinbase Consumer Support is absolutely useless, without any options to contact personally with an operator or even get a proper email communication with an operator. You will get only a kind of automatic replays or simple replays with no information or help at all. My current problem is that I'm unable to perform any kind of operations with my account under review and I have no solution or estimate time to get it completed. All this time I was missing chances to trade with my cryptocurrencies and hence missing a lot of opportunities to increase my balance. At this moment the only thing I need is to get this problem sorted out, my Coinbase account review finished and be able to have back the control of my account with the approximately XXXX $ on it. I will appreciate your help and support to get a solution for this and I will propose to raise an advertisement to all Coinbase clients that this issue could happen to anyone at anytime without previous alert, blocking completely all kind of operations in the accounts and without an explanation about the reasons or possible ways to solve it.
