Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 I submitted an initial dispute to all three credit bureaus, specifically requesting the validation of debt that I was disputing on my credit report and the removal of such accounts is the proof was not produced. Part of their investigation involves them forwarding the dispute to the company. On XX/XX/2018, I sent a second dispute letter to all bureaus reminding them of the fair credit reporting act and their obligations as companies that furnish such information. I have yet to receive any proof of this debt/ account I am disputing. The 30 days for each letter has passed and the dispute has not been handled properly under the consumer laws of the FCRA. This specific account I am disputing has been deleted by the original creditor after investigating a dispute, and has made it to the collections section of my credit report which is heavily damaging my credit score. This company has failed me as a consumer by not complying with my consumer rights by continuously reporting unidentified and unverified information.

Consumer Complaint: I disputed a collection with XXXX regarding XXXX XXXX that they submitted to the credit agencies recorded on XX/XX/XXXX without my knowledge and without any validation of debt. The details state the original creditor as XXXX and the amount is for {$380.00}. I contacted XXXX and they do not have a record of this under my name, I have not had XXXX service since XXXX. If this debt was valid which I believe to be untrue, the SOL would have expired in my State of Michigan. I have never received any communication from this creditor, it simply appeared on my credit report which they should have validated the debt with me. I wrote to them and asked them to remove this from my credit reports immediately and provide proof of said services. Furthermore, this credit agency is not licensed in the State of Michigan to perform collections in this state, so I believe they are illegally trying to collect a debt that not only is invalid, but they are not entitled to do so according to the Michigan State Attorney general office, which they have requested I file a complaint pending the results of your findings. I have been checking my credit reports and this is still appearing, therefore they are ignoring my request for removal and request of validation. I reached out to them also by email this week, I have proof of delivery and again received no response. If this was on one of their own credit reports, they would react in a timelier matter.
