Consumer Complaint: I discovered a negative item on my credit karma from XXXX XXXX for a misunderstanding I thought was resolved They sent me to collections for and item that was never received for {$770.00} but I was given {$1000.00} credit They have on the XXXX XXXX my total credit was {$750.00} which is an error on their behalf They sold my false debt to Jefferson Capital An investigation was made and and in conclusion there was no judgement and it was charged off to XXXX but it is still on my credit report as a negative mark but this is all because of a mistake done by XXXX XXXX I would like this negative mark removed permanently from all my credit reports immediately please

Ive filed reports/complaints about my identity being stolen and nothing has came from it. Ive put freezes, and flagged my credit but I have all these new things keep popping up that are not mine. Someone even filed for unemployment in my name with my info and has tried to file my taxes to get my return. I have quiet a few inquiries on my credit that arent my doing and these accounts that arent mine. Please help!!!

The old debt was charged off. The debt is beyond the status limitation but they are breaking the law and still trying to sue me. It's beyond the status limitation.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX account I had had been canceled and equipment had been returned to store in XXXX. About a year later around XXXX of XXXX a XXXX rep called trying to collect on a debt before it was sent to collections. After talking to them for quite some time I was able to get it sorted out and took a screen shot of my XXXX account showing a paid in full status with {$0.00} balance on XX/XX/XXXX. Rep told me they would send a letter but a letter never came. In XXXX Jefferson Capital showed up on my credit report showing an account that they were collecting on from XXXX. I've disputed this account multiple times and each time they verify it as accurate. I recently was able to get the screen shot showing a zero balance off an old phone. When I disputed and included this screen shot they still verified the debt as accurate due to the submitted document being an image file and not a letter.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I reached out to a representative from Jefferson Capital System and set up a pay to delete. Per our conversation ( XXXX ) and XXXX ( supervisor ) stated they would be able to do a pay to delete, when I specifically asked XXXX to send me a email stating they would be able to provide a pay to delete she said they do not use emails but they can go ahead and mail me one. I let them know that I need a letter of proof they will delete it before I can make a payment. XXXX transferred me to her manager and her manager ( XXXX ) told me she will send a secured email with the payment agreement INCLUDING THE PAY TO DELETE. I set up the payment for the XXXX for the full amount and verbally verified were doing a pay to delete and it will state that on the email multiple times. Once I receive the email I log into the desktop and set my account up with them and the payment arrangement is set up as XX/XX/XXXX balance will show PAID IN FULL. I called Jefferson Capital on XX/XX/XXXX to speak to the same representatives to see why I do not have that letter like we agreed on. When I spoke to both representatives they stated they never said such a thing and that they can not send out emails/letters for a agreement of pay to delete because they send it after. I informed both of them that I want in writing that once the payment is made in full they will agree to delete it off my records and that way I will go ahead and have documentation supporting my claim in case it does not get removed. After that both reps said they do not do that per the company policy and that they will remove the collection AFTER I make a payment and they will not inform me until AFTER they remove it via mailed letter. I informed both reps that this is lying to consumers, telling them this information and then not giving them proper documentation per request and also UNFAIR tactics to get consumers to pay on debts. LYING to get a payment and making false statements and claims. At the end of our conversation I asked for them to either give me some type of letter via email stating they will delete the collection off my credit once they receive payment on the XXXX and both representatives were not able to do that because it was " against policy '' and they delete it after they payment. I went ahead and voided my charge and verified the payment plan was delete for the XXXX. This company has horrible reviews and scare tactics to get their consumers to pay. I do not appreciate being lied to and tricked into FALSE AGREEMENTS!
