Consumer Complaint: Opened the card in XXXX, went to collections, paid the full XXXX $ due- XXXX XXXX knew it was paid and the debt collection agency Jefferson Capital , put two collections on my credit, that were over with. I disputed both one for {$590.00} and one for {$660.00} in XXXX, it came back and they deleted it from my credit report. But it still remains on there, and a few weeks ago the one for {$590.00}, itll be falling off in XXXX anyways because it will be 7 years. But they inaccurately put it on my credit and said I t was opened 4 months ago and was seriously delinquent, but never did i receive a notice or phone call saying I had a debt. But it was paid back years ago, and so was the other one. {$590.00} collection by the same Jefferson capital, was opened in XX/XX/XXXX. And they have it saying it doesnt fall off until XXXX. I have disputed this and it was 100 % inaccurate. As soon as I started to find a mortgage loan they come back to my life and say I owe this. And it should be illegal to dropping my credit score and making it look like I have derogatory marks with them on my credit report. They ruined my loan.

Consumer Complaint: Jefferson Capital called me today I told the woman that I couldnt speak to her at the moment because I was helping my daughter with homework for school she calls my mothers home phone 5 mins later I told her not to call that number because it wasnt my phone she began to become very rude and told me She can call all she wants until I spoke to her I said legally she couldnt because we were on a recorded line and I asked her not to call Ive also asked for the debt in writhing which I never received

Consumer Complaint: I bought a cell phone at XXXX from a XXXX kiosk over 7 years ago. I returned the phone to XXXX before 30 days. XXXX claims I never returned the phone, but I did, I had a receipt for the returned phone. They sent my account to collections, I called them, sent them a copy of the return, but they still refused to credit me and said, '' they couldn't take the account out of collections. '' This account has been sold to several different collection agencies over the years, and I've called every single one of them explaining I returned the product, but they insist I pay {$470.00}. Because the accounts been transferred so many times, it looks like my debt is only 2 years old. If I kept the phone I'd have paid for it, the XXXX manager at the time was aware of the return, I even sent them a statement from him saying he accepted the return. According to XXXX, they never authorized the return, but the return was made at the XXXX kiosk where it was purchased, then I was directed to the XXXX return desk to complete the transaction. It was paid for on my XXXX XXXX at the time, I closed that account because I closed XXXX XXXX. I'd appreciate this bogus collection which has plagued my credit creating a false low & constant derogatory blemish on my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: In late XX/XX/XXXX, I cancelled our mobile phone service with XXXX XXXX. We paid our final bill to XXXX. We began using XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX CONTACT INFO JEFFERSON CAPITAL SYSTEM XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, MN XXXX USA ( XXXX ) XXXX A couple months later, I received a bill from XXXX attempting to charge us for an early termination fee. $ XXXX I called XXXX and told them our contract had expired many, many years ago. They attempted to tell me that I signed a new contract later. Knowing I had not done so, I asked them to send me a copy of the signed contract. They did not. I have repeartedly requested proof that they confirm I signed a second contract with them. We were clients of XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. We closed our account XX/XX/XXXX. We transferred our service to XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX chased us for this false debt for 3 years. InXX/XX/XXXX they turned the account over to collections agency, Jefferson Capital. XXXX refuses to supply proof of their allegation and simply keep reaffirming the false re-age date, XX/XX/XXXX that coincides with when they turned the account over to Jefferson Capital System. Since then, they continue to tack on late charges and report the account as defaulted in the amount of {$280.00}. There are two issues. > We never owed this false charge because we never signed another contract ( which they refuse to supply proof of ). > They are reporting this late charge with the fake re-age date of XX/XX/XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: Jefferson Capital Systems Debt Collecting Agency is refusing to validate alleged debts that I owe and can not provide sufficient evidence to me that I owe the debt but keeps falsely reporting the debt as valid on my credit report. They call multiple times a day and when I demand validation they talk in circles around me. I disputed the debt at each credit bureaus and each dispute comes back verified. XXXX provides a copy of the investigation and they Jefferson Capital Systems provided fees to XXXX and nothing more as their way of validating the debt. This is not sufficient evidence and they have damaged my credit for a long time and I want this off my credit report immediately.

Consumer Complaint: At the time that this account was opened on my credit profile, I was not given prior notice that such action was going to take place. The last I had known, that particular account had been closed! Upon seeing it newly opened on my account, I only realized after doing some research that it was related to my past closed account with XXXX XXXX. My last known notification was around XX/XX/2019, asking for about {$1000.00} to settle the account. At the time I was on XXXX XXXX without pay and could not afford it. Shortly after, about 4 months later, while still on XXXX XXXX I further experienced hardship by then being placed on furlough from my place of work due to the Covid-19 pandemic. So in the midst of all of this, the newly opened account popped up on my credit profile without prior given notice and when I researched and called, that is when I discovered that a new company called Jefferson Capital had acquired the account and was asking around about {$1500.00} to settle the account. I tried explaining to them both my situation and disposition but they were unwilling to accept any amount less.

I attempted multiple times to switch out the vehicle with the dealer but I was denied every time and told that i had to deal with the vehicle I purchased on my own. now since I no longer have the vehicle it is extremely hard for me to obtain a new vehicle because I have a repossesion reporting on my credit due to a situiation I was falsely lead into and mistreate. Please help me remove this account from my credit so I can obtain a new vehicle which will help me and my family improve our standars of living tremendously
