Consumer Complaint: In accordance with the fair credit reporting act, Capital One Account # XXXX has violated my rights. 15 USC 1681 section 602 states I have the right to privacy. 15 USC section 604 A section 2 : it also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instructions. 15 USC 1666B states a creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under any open end consumer credit plan as late for any purpose.

Consumer Complaint: Hi, I have a dispute with Capital one CC company, my account number ending in XXXX, original dispute XX/XX/23, complaint filed with Michigan Attorney General. I did a FULL balance transfer of {$210.00} AWAY from Capital 1, the balance transfer overlapped my due date by a few days and Cap 1 charged my account a let fee plus interest. I refused to pay a late fee plus interest on a balance transfer. I filed a complaint with Capital 1 and they did NOTHING to resolve the issue. This went one for 3 months as I refused to pay it ( which also reflects on my credit ). It was only when I filed a complaint with Michigan Attorney General that Capital 1 took steps to resolve the problem. Per Capital 1 's resolution letter to me ( XXXX XXXX ), they " credited '' my account back the {$150.00} ( all of this was late fees and interest after PAYING OFF my balance ) which they should have never charged me in the first place. Now, I have to file another complaint to have this removed from my credit report. Plus they never closed my account like I asked them too. ...... Even though the dollar amount has been resolved, I'm writing you because this NEEDS to be reported. Thank you, XXXX XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I have been with Capital one for almost 5 years plus. I have credit cards from all major banks in USA like XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX etc. Max credit limit of {$36000.00} in one single credit card and all others are in the range of $ XXXX {$20000.00} with a total limit of $ XXXX. My credit score is mostly in the very good range, never missed any payments. The problem is the system of Capital one for credit limit increases, My limit is {$600.00}, and doesn't matter what you do they don't increase it. I am not asking to give me max credit but a reasonable limit is expected. They had a usage issue which I did mitigate now the rejection pretty much has no explainable reason.

I would like the aforementioned information to be deleted pursuant to the law mentioned in the above sentence all late payments, and or the account, the Item that is being marked as late and being furnished to a consumer reporting agency. Consumer Complaint: I made an order with my card online with a company. The purchase was terribly handled. Wrong products, wrong address, box was left in rain. I immediately demanded a refund the day upon receipt ; but the vendor never responded. I filed a dispute with my credit card at CapitalOne. It took CapitalOne two months to respond to my complaint. When they finally did, they vaguely denied it with a line item suggesting I had not requested a refund and demanded I fax proof ( there was no way to email or speak to anyone ). I did as instructed and emailed attached evidence that I demanded a refund via the company 's officially designated support line and within the company 's terms ( provided to CapitalOne ). In less than 4 hours of faxing, CapitalOne responded that I did not provide " proper evidence '' ( without specifying what or was not sufficient ) and told me that my claim was considered closed, my card would be billed the balance and to " work it out with the merchant ''.
