Issue: Fees or interest
Subissue: Problem with fees
Consumer Complaint: I paid two capital one credit cards in full ( one nearly {$6000.00} and one nearly {$8000.00} ). I checked my balance the next day expecting to see a 0 balance on both cards. Instead, the very day I paid my bills in full, Capital One charged me over {$100.00} in interest on each card. Im hoping you can help. I dont see how people can ever get out of credit card debt when they pay bills in full and credit card companies like capital one charge more interest/fees.

Issue: Fees or interest
Subissue: Problem with fees
Consumer Complaint: Capital One continues to charge mean " Interest Fee '' for XXXX and XX/XX/2023. I called regarding this fee and the representative explained the credit card company carried forward interest from XX/XX/2023. I have an excellent payment history and pay the statement in full each month. I expressed my due diligence to this recent matter and as an accountant noted how confusing it's billing statement is. My new balance is {$36.00} including the interest charge. I have called three times to correct this error after making two payments in XXXX of $ XXXX and was still charged. I expressed my concern over this business practice and will not be taken advantage of this credit card company for making all my payments in full. I was a loyal consumer to this company even paying off my car loan several years back. I do not trust Capital One as an entity any longer. Capital One has no integrity.
