Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, Capital One Credit Card Company took over XXXX MasterCard Credit Card from XXXX XXXX. On Saturday, XX/XX/2023, I received my first credit card statement from Capital One in the mail. The statement indicated that my credit card payment was now due on the XXXX of each month Beginn XX/XX/2023. Prior to Capital One Bank taking over XXXX XXXX XXXX! XXXX accounts my payments were due on the XXXX of each month. The previous month of XXXX, my credit card payments was due on XX/XX/2023. I contacted Capital One Bank and spoke with a representative named XXXX. I explained that I received my first statement from Capital One, and my payment due date has been changed from the XXXX if each month to the XXXX of each month, and I have not received sufficient notice for such change. I also advised that there appears to be a change in the interest rate that I am being charged, nor have I received any notice in regards to that change. XXXX attempted to locate a policy and procedure regarding this matter, which she was not able to locate. I advised her that I have not received any notification of either of these changes. Thereafter, requested to speak with a supervisor. XXXX transferred me to.XXXX ID # : XXXX, who advised me that my payment date could be changed to XXXX of the following dates of the month : the XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX or XXXX of the month. However, it would not take affect for XXXX to XXXX billing cycles. I advise that the XXXX was the closest state to my previous billing cycle. However, this does not solve my immediate problem, as I just paid my bill on XXXX XXXX, I have my mortgage to pay at the beginning of XXXX, and they are requesting payment on XX/XX/XXXX with not so much as a 30 day. I pay my mortgage at the beginning of the month, and this creates a hardship.

Consumer Complaint: I owed a minimum payment of {$230.00} to capital one towards my credit card. I received an offer in an email to settle the account for {$270.00}, I call capital one to discuss my options, I called and asked if the debt was sold off and was told it wasnt, so I then asked if I made the minimum payment will I be able to use my card again, I was told I was so I went ahead and payed the minimum payment of {$230.00} to keep the account active instead of settling, and closing it for {$270.00}. After making the payment my card still showed restricted, I called the bank back to ask what happened and I was told that the information I was told was wrong and once the account is restricted it can not be unrestricted, so I paid the {$230.00} for a card I cant even use again and still owe a remaining balance. When I mentioned what I was told by the agent they investigated and determined the agent didnt do anything wrong, when I asked for a recording of the call I was denied. I then asked was it possible that someone higher up can take the restriction off or allow me to pay the difference between the {$230.00} I paid, and the {$270.00} settlement offer and both suggestions were declined. Now Im hoping I can receive help with this matter.

Consumer Complaint: I AM REOPEN A COMPLAINTS THAT I HAVE ALREADY FILED WITH YOU AND I WASN'T ABLE TO RESPOND TO YOUR REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION BECAUSE I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL BECAUSE I HAD A XXXX XXXX XXXX DUE TO THE IDENTITY THEFT THAT THE COMPANY 'S In questioning what's in my complaint that I submitted back in XX/XX/2022 my identity was sold in all my money was the one all the banks that I mentioned in my complaint has not resolved this issue and the company that I paid to protect my identity and my bank accounts liked to me and told me that my bank account apps in my phone apps and everything that has to do with my business was safe and which it want to be open this complaint and get Justice and get all the money that was stolen for me I ended up having a XXXX XXXX and been put in a XXXX I have to have 3 XXXX and I still haven't received any help or anything about my identity information stolen and it is at the point of this SERIOUS situation I have to change my Social Security number and I have been homeless since this SERIOUS incident happened to me and I have found out that Capital One Credit Card Department let hackers submit over 28 to 30 credit card applications and Capital One gave theses hackers 2 credit cards in my name and Social Security number and they have USED them and maxed them out and this situation has messed up my credit score and my whole entire credit report and I have repeatedly reached out to everyone in questioning and let them know that my identity information was stolen and being sold on the dark web sites and they ignored it and all three credit bureaus didn't notify me of all the fraudulent activities that were posted on my credit report because they were asking me to pay them XXXX dollars per month and I did until they had DATA BREACHES them selves and they didn't notify me about all the fraudulent activities or the banking companies that I used for my banking accounts and for my BUSINESS THAT I was trying to START up by saving my money and saving money for my daughter TRUST FUND and grandchildren TRUST funds accounts and emergency IRA accounts for EMERGENCY situations were all stolen and I REALLY need YOUR help PLEASE THANK YOU

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of XXXX I filed my tax return for the year of XXXX, The estimated refund date was XX/XX/XXXX in the year of XXXX. Due to negligence on the behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, one number was missing from my account number. This resulted in a delay in receiving my tax return as far as I knew, I reach out to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Capital One as well as the IRS, with no clear indication as to what happened or why my tax return is this late. I discover on my own that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX made a mistake with the account number, so I then call them to seek a resolution and there's nothing they're able to do for me. So I then attempt to get in touch with the IRS and that proves to be difficult with two to three hour wait times, negligent workers who are bitter and overworked and resentful toward the people they have to help. I also made an attempt to reach out to Capital One to find out what happened, and all three companies or entities alike, gave me the runaround and told me nothing but open-ended half truths. During the process of them lying to me deliberately so they don't have to give me my money or resolve the issue they caused. I recorded every single phone call, documented any names and everything else that can be related to these circumstances ; in relation to all three entities and or companies. Capital One in response to the first claim I filed had responded directly to me by transferring the money into my account in the amount of {$1.00}, XXXX, plus 12 additional deposits that were only a mere dollar and cents amount, this is not a direct compliance with the complaint and laws surrounding my ability to file this complaint against them for negligence, considering the interest amount is not in accordance to the proper calculations of each quarter that are in accordance to IRS tax laws, 4.5 %, to 5 % to 6 % across the year of XXXX... Leading up to XXXX, the most recent change was in XXXX up to 6 % in the year XXXX, and based on my calculations considering my tax return is over 223 days late, and based on my calculations given the interest rates I'm owed XXXX to this very day, and at 6 % of XXXX that's XXXX each day I don't receive that money. And considering it's after a point it's no longer XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX responsibility, because Capital One did receive the money and let someone else steal it ; This is fully capital one 's responsibility. And respectfully, the last complaint wasn't complied with, considering I didn't receive the XXXX I was due to receive at the time before it increased based on the IRS interest rate for LATE RAX RETURNS. I'm also adding to the complaint that Capital One used deceptive business practices to trick the CFPB into believing that they complied, which is illegal as well if anybody would like to look that up. My desired resolution is to receive that XXXX dollar amount as I'm legally entitled to it, and considering Capital One told me any and all IRS deposits would be sent back and lied when they knew my money had been stolen. I fully expect you guys to reconsider your position on compliance. Especially considering I still haven't received any phone calls from your managers yet before you guys formally replied to the CFPB about my complaint, keep being deceptive and keep lying because I will keep calling until I get this money, also if you guys think it doesn't apply, you wouldn't had paid me ANYTHING at all, Especially the extra interest deposits of a few cents each, and again! That wasn't compliance since it wasn't the correct corresponding amount based on IRS quarterly interest.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX, Capital One Bank sent a digital transfer of {$10000.00} to XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX to pay of a loan. Bank statements from both banks reflect transmission and process. On XX/XX/2022, XXXXXXXX XXXX statement shows funds returned with no explanation. Capital One shows no such return. Since then, I have spent the last 7 months interacting with both banks to resolve this issue. Because of the banking industries rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, the banks say they can not directly talk to each other to resolve this. I have continually been put in the middle to have to call back and forth to explain each bank 's requests, needs, and requirements. Without going into the excruciating details of having to talk to, and explain in detail to, different individuals on every phone call, my complaint against Capital One is that their Payment Department has on 2 occasions not sent the Proof of Payment full information that XXXX through me requested, and when they said the right information had been sent, XXXX claims non-receipt. I then asked the Capital One supervisor of the day, if the XXXX Department would provide me, the customer, with the information, so I could directly give it to XXXXXXXX XXXX Executive Department. I was told no. This has become a 7 month vicious cycle of one bank asking for an email transmission, XXXX, Capital One stating they can't send it via email, and fax transmissions that continually get lost. This is clearly a bank to bank issue that somehow must be resolved by them since Capital One won't provide me, the customer, with the information needed to resolve it.
