Consumer Complaint: I sent my letter out on XX/XX/XXXX via fax to Capital one dispute department. I explained to the Capital One dispute representative that i had XXXX, lost a family friend and faced a financial hardship loosing my job due to the pandemic layoff and my personal condition. I even provided my XXXX XXXX XXXX to show that the times I had XXXX were in alignment with late payments. I also opened a credit card account with them with automatic payments set up so I could continue a more positive relationship with them. The Capital One & credit bureaus representatives told me if I provided a good will letter and supporting documents, then they would notify credit buraus and remove it from my credit report. Unfortunately, this was not fulfilled and capital one continued to report a charge off/collection. Because of this, my credit scores were impacted negatively. Negatively impacting my credit score after an attempted dispute is a violation of my consumer rights.

Consumer Complaint: I have sent several remittance coupons in to your payment processing center. I have talked to the supervisor of billing disputes, it seems like im being ignored. I sent in a negotiable instrument this last time. Of which seems to have disappeared along with my remittance coupon. Incorrect information has been reported to the credit agencies and damaged my ability to use my credit. I have sent in my payment and none of which has been returned or applied to principal. I have no problem paying my debts, but i will not be forced to fraudulently pay double.

I have called Capital One and WXXXXXXXX to dispute this auto-charge to XXXX XXXX When I call XXXX they can not match my email with the bank account ( XXXX ) that the money is coming from. I am getting robbed each month and there seems to be nothing I can do about it. I have contacted Walmart by phone and by letter. At this point, my only option is to cancel my ( XXXX ) account and issue a new card so that this charge can not be deducted any longer, which will be problematic because I have other legitimate charges coming out of this account. I have contacted Capital One and spoke to a fraud specialist that told me this account was already closed due to fraud and it should of been deleted from XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. I have also contacted these 3 bureaus and submitted my fraud affidavit for removal. The account reports as Capital One date opened XX/XX/2019 partial account # XXXX as a business card joint. I do not have a business nor joint with any business.
