Consumer Complaint: Reserved rental car on XXXX on XX/XX/2023 for two days. Was rental was to be picked up on XX/XX/2023. My Capital Cabelas Visa was charged {$210.00}. The rental car company is XXXX. Arrived XX/XX/2023 at XXXX at XXXX to get car. XXXX rental agent informed me that there is an hold of {$200.00} that need to be placed on my credit card. Informed XXXX agent that I dont have {$200.00} on my credit card for the hold to be placed. Moreover, informed agent that when I booked car rental with XXXX it was never mentioned that an {$200.00} hold would be placed on my credit card in addition to the rental charge of {$210.00}. Informed XXXX agent I would have never booked the car in any event disclaimer stated and additional hold of {$200.00} would be placed in my credit card. The agent informed that my card declined for the additional {$200.00} hold. I could not rent the car. Ask agent for refund of {$210.00}, agent informed to contact my credit card company for refund. I called Cabelas Capital One and filed a dispute on XX/XX/2023. Informed Capital One that I reserved rental car through XXXX for two days for {$210.00}. Car was to be picked up on XX/XX/2023 at XXXX at XXXX. Arrived at XXXX and was informed that an additional hold of {$200.00} was requested by XXXX agent to be placed on my credit in addition to the {$210.00} that was prepaid with XXXX. I did not have the money and was not allowed to rent car. However, my card was charged {$210.00} and it wasnt refunded back on my card. Want Capital One to provide receipt from XXXX XXXX with my authentic signature that I rented car for two days. Want Capital One to provide contract that I signed to rent car from XXXX. Capital One responded to my dispute XXXX and informed me that I lost my dispute and I am liable for the {$210.00} because I didnt cancel my reservation. Capital Ine never provided my requested documents. Would like Capital One to provide to me XXXX cancellation policy in writing. Capital One, XXXX and XXXX are in conspiracys to defraud me. I never received the service I paid for. That is theft of service.

Consumer Complaint: Capital one has failed to respond to any of my letters or emails or voicemails. They seem to only respond when I make a claim through you guys. I called XXXX, many times and nothing has happened. As mentioned before I'm submitting a claim regarding my account ending in XXXX, my account has POSITIVE balance for that account is {$12.00}, XXXX, and I still don't understand why if you guys already decided to close my account and end relationship why has a check haven't been sent to me for the remainder balance in my account, capital one by law can not keep any of my money and must send a check to me for balance remaining, account should have already closed there no negative balance, so I should have already been issued a check for the amount shown above, i received mail of my account and shows me a balance. No letters as of why you decided to end relationship, nor when my account will close NO time frame has been provided, like I mentioned no answers are giving to me without me making a claim with the consumer financial protection bureau, please help me escalate this and get my money sent out to me. Why is it taking capital one months to close account with a positive balance. Not my checking or my savings accounts ( 2 ) why are they still open not closed.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased a vehicle on XX/XX/XXXX and the dealer did not provide me with the required disclosures at the time of the transaction, and as a result, I was not aware of my right to rescind the contract within three days of signing. I have since learned that the dealer was required by law to provide me with the disclosures, and their failure to do so has extended my right to rescind the transaction. The total downpayment amount was {$5400.00} paid in cash with {$29000.00} being financed. I have since paid a total of {$6600.00} towards this contract.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2023 - Capitol One closed my credit card account today with no formal letter, only an email that said it was closed due to inactivity. I called Capital One today and they informed me they emailed me in XXXX and that this closure was permanent. This closure causes harm to my credit score as available credit and number of years with a credit account are determining factors. They informed me the only option was to apply for a new account which would also impact my score. I filled a complaint with the company about this policy.
