Consumer Complaint: Capitol One Credit Card continues to mail pre-approved credit card applications to my daughter at an apartment address I left in XX/XX/2019. My daughter never lived at that address. Yet they continue to send her pre-approved credit card applications. As many transients as there are at apartment complexes, I can only imagine it's only a matter of time before someone takes advantage of an opportunity to abuse her credit. We have submitted change of address with USPS. We are on the national no marketing list.

Consumer Complaint: Have had 3 credit cards with capital one for YEARS. I had ONE late payment / payment returned because I didnt realize my deposit hadnt made it into my checking account on time. Capital one made ZERO effort to contact me and instead closed ALL THREE of my credit cards without any warning, zero phone calls, zero emails, zero messages. Then I receive letters claiming I violated terms of services for using the cards. What??? I use my cards for very basic uses. I recently moved, so expenses were temporarily higher as I used the credit THEY GAVE ME for some one time household purchases. Excuse me, I thought credit cards were designed to BE USED. They now have destroyed my credit by closing these accounts as now my credit is going to nose dive. After Ive been LOYAL TO THIS BANK AND IN GOOD STANDING FOR YEARS. Horrible horrible bank!!

Consumer Complaint: Kohls sabotaged my credit profile by reporting inaccurate information. Account is not 30 days late. This is the third time in 3 years that this company has placed derogatory remarks on my credit profile causing my score to suffer tremendously.Kohls credit reporting practices are unethical and they target consumers unfairly. I have not been 30 days late in over 3 years. I recently made a payment less than 30 days late & it was reported to all 3 credit bureaus deceptively. A payment made a few days after the due date is reflected on my credit profile as being 30 days late. This has happened 3 times since 2019. I demand this information be removed from my credit profile immediately.

Consumer Complaint: I Opened a capital one credit card on XXXX XXXX and The agreement was that the interest rate would be 0 % APR for 15 months with a balance transfer charge of no less than {$5.00} dollars but no more than 3 % of balance transfer. I was going to submit a balance transfer of {$1000.00}. I received my card in the mail today XXXX XXXX and activated the card and proceeded to start a balance transfer with a capital one representative on the phone but she said that I did not have a balance transfer offer. I then proceeded to ask to speak to a supervisor in which the supervisor confirmed that I am available for a balance transfer as she noted in my contract but she does not know why she can not activate a balance transfer at this time in her computer system. If I do not get this balance transfer done by the XXXX of this month I will owe over {$1300.00} on another credit card which is hampering me to take care of my business. Capital one has defaulted and has not upheld their bargain of the contract.

Consumer Complaint: NOTICE TO AGENT IS NOTICE TO PRINCIPAL NOTICE TO PRINCIPAL IS NOTICE TO AGENT I hereby give your Company notice pursuant to 15 USC 1602 ( k ) that your Company never provided an adequate notice which clearly & conspicuously mentions the pertinent facts of this transaction. Your Company didn't even inform about the Cost of Credit and the only evidence of the indebtedness was just a computer-generated agreement. According to 15 USC 1602 ( k ), the term " adequate notice means a printed notice to a cardholder which sets forth the pertinent facts clearly and conspicuously so that a person against whom it is to operate could reasonably be expected to have noticed it and understood its meaning. Such notice may be given to a cardholder by printing the notice on any credit card, or on each periodic statement of account, issued to the cardholder, or by any other means reasonably assuring the receipt thereof by the cardholder. Since adequate notice was not given as per the above-mentioned section, I couldn't understand its meaning which is a violation under 15 USC 1602 ( k ). Further, pursuant to 15 USC 1601 ( a ) a consumer must be aware of the cost of transaction. Since I was not aware of the transaction therefore made an uninformed decision and it resulted in multiple filling errors, and unfair credit card practices. From your end, I have not benefited from this transaction which is again violation of 15 USC 1602 ( p ). According to 15 USC 1602 ( p ), The term " unauthorized use '' means a use of a credit card by a person other than the cardholder who does not have actual, implied or apparent authority for such use and from Which the cardholder receives no benefit. I hereby request you to do the below-mentioned things ; Delete tTHIS ACCOUNT OFF MY REPORT AND VALIDATE THE DEBT 15 USC 1692G ( 4 ) I demand a validation of debt in pursuant 15 USC 1692g If you accept my request, I will not escalate this matter to Federal Court . In case, you don't accept the above requests, a legal action shall be taken against your Company for compensatory damages. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
