Consumer Complaint: Kohls incorrectly opened a credit account without my authorization. They have no signature from me authorizing them to open an account in my name. I only authorized them to approve me for an account which I had no intention of opening. To my knowledge I had paid for the merchandise with my debit card, and they were going to mail me a card to activate at my discretion ( which I had no intention of doing ). Without my knowledge, they applied a small balance of under {$250.00} to the account that they opened without my authorization and sent statements to the wrong mailing address for months I had no idea this account was open and then I was receiving statements. Only when I attempted to secure financing for a purchase. Did I realize that Kohls had reported me to the credit bureau and destroyed my credit rating from a XXXX down to a XXXX. After imploring them repeatedly to close the account and reminding them that they had no authorization written or otherwise from me, authorizing them to open an account in my name did they agree to take payment from me for the merchandise only and close the account in question. However, one month later, the derogatory Report from them still remains on my credit report, preventing me from securing adequate financing for current and future purchases ( for example, a preapproval for an auto loan with a 6 % APR has now risen to 11 % APR ). Kohls continues to drag its feet And not correct his mistake of opening of opening an account in a very deceptive manner. Yet Im the one paying the consequences for their deception. I need this removed from my credit report immediately and my solid credit Rating restored to a XXXX.

XXXX has been committed on my consumer report, which violates the FCRA and FDCPA. Capital One is using extortionate means to collect an alleged debt. I do not owe that result from extension of credit which violates Title 18 USC 892-894 and constitutes racketeering activities and extortion. When i returned their car in XXXX they released the money they had on hold back to my capital one capital one stated that they didnt see any money released into my account and closed my dispute when i provided my receipt of the amount that XXXX was supposed to charge me, i called again and spoke to someone else and they re opened my dispute they asked me to contact XXXX and ask for proof indicating that they released the money and when. I provided capital one with this information, days later capital one took the negative funds from my savings account without my consent or without warning me leaving both of my checking with negative balance and no funds in my savings. My {$2700.00} dollars got lost between XXXX and capital one plus capital one took {$1300.00} from my savings. Please help

Consumer Complaint: I noticed a special invitation from Capital One Bank to check if I am pre-approved with no credit score impact. It clearly stated if I checked, it will not affect my credit. Then I clicked the link and entered all my information and I got the message Well done XXXX, Your credit qualified you for multiple cards. It means I am pre-approved and I must get the credit card, If I apply ( I am attaching copies of all the invitations which states no impact on my credit and also my pre -approval ). Thinking that Capital one is a trustworthy Bank, I applied for the credit card and I got the denial letter even though my credit score is XXXX. All the reasons mentioned in the letter are false. Also I got the email that you have inquired about my credit. Attaching copies of that too. I request you to please intervene in this and check why they pre-approved me if I am not eligible to get the credit card. Could you please ask them to remove the credit inquiry from my account. If I can not trust Capital One Bank then how I can deposit my big amounts with Capital One Bank. Before approaching XXXX please give me the valid reason for the credit denial and if it is by mistake tell them to issue me the credit card and otherwise remove the inquiry from my file. Also please tell them not to send these type of phishing emails
