Consumer Complaint: Cosigned for a car for an X over eight years ago, it was never on my credit and all of a sudden its showing up on XXXX with the date XXXX XXXX I cosigned for this vehicle over eight years ago and he left with the vehicle. I never drove it. He was paying everything on it. I have no idea what happened to the vehicle. It was never on my credit with XXXX and now its showing up on there and I dont know why, they told me that I needed to get an FTC thats what Im trying to do so I can send the information to them because this is not my account and I dont understand why its on my credit all of a sudden two years ago when it hasnt been on my credit for almost over 10 years

Consumer Complaint: I opened a credit card with capital one in XX/XX/2022. It wasnt until the end of that year that i began using the account and subsequently allowed my daughter to use while out one day. She lost it... meanwhile I never received any type of statement or call from them regarding payment etc recently i was applying to refinance my mortgage and the lenders report showed the account to be over the limit and late. I immedialtey reached out to cap one only for them to advise that they had my info incorrect in the system so i couldnt make a payment and would have to mail a copy of my id. so you can see me kinda, its on my report, im calling to make a payment and there is NO record... they advised that it would take a full 10 business days to research after receiving my license but weirdly in that process i receive my FIRST bill / statement, which i paid in full. Im not even sure that all of the transactions are mine but i want to do whatever works in the best interest of my credit the fastest

I contacted the credit bureaus and they failed to fix the issue. I also reached out to Capital One and they too failed to fix it and sends me the same letter over and over again. This is stressing me out because the late is being re-reported each month and won't go away and the account has been closed for XXXX years. I am consulting with a consumer rights attorney on this because the bureaus won't fix the issue.

Consumer Complaint: I pulled a copy of my XXXX consumer report and noticed that Capital one is reporting a late payment dating XX/XX/. According to 15 USC 1681 ( 2 ) ( a ) ( i ) transactions are to be excluded from the consumer report but they are being reported as a late payment. This is inhibiting my ability to get lines of credit, inhibiting my ability to open merchant accounts for my online business, its inhibiting the ability to get houses and cars to live. Today, XX/XX/XXXX after several previous attempts to get the payment removed, however capital one is reluctant to remove the late payment despite being put on notice that it is a violation of consumer law. I have XXXX kids and it is making it hard for us to survive day by day. I kindly request that this late late payment gets reversed and the status shows on time.

Consumer Complaint: I applied for the capital one venture card XX/XX/2023. In response I got a request for proof of income. I sent in my tax return documents ( as listed in their list of documents that can be provided ). That document was not accepted as it was a joint tax return form. They wanted additional information to show proof that I have access to my household income ( aka my husbands income ). I filed a complaint with CFPB and capital one at that point sent me a letter saying they needed a notarized document from my husband stating I had access to his funds.this makes no sense as we are married, live in the same home and have joint bank accounts. I complied and sent them a notarized document. Even after sending this they didnt accept and said they wanted more information on how much amount I have access to and the frequency. The letter clearly stated I have access to all of his funds including bonuses, investments and rental incomes and assets. I complied once again and sent a notarized letter stating a monthly amount and frequency. They have again not accepted this because now they want proof of my husbands income. This is so stupid and ridiculous. They already have the income tax return they can clearly see his income. I find this whole process harassing and mentally draining. It is an insult that I have to keep sending them stupid information that has no basis. They have no common sense.. my husband doesnt pay me monthly or gives alimony, it is household income and according to the law it is considered mine and I obviously I have access to it. I feel that capital one is being discriminatory against me for being a female and a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and just finding reasons to not process and are delaying my application. They dont even connect me to the person processing the application which is ridiculous. If I knew this was the horrible and painful process of applying for the capital one venture card I would never apply for it. It has already created an unnecessary hard inquiry in my credit report.

Only I the consumer can extend credit with my social security card which is also considered a credit card by law. This allows me access to my open-ended credit plan. I have been mislead by CAPITAL ONE. I have a credit balance on this credit card account and i am requesting my refund which is owed to me, the consumer. I have attached proof with federal laws and clear violations under 15 usc 1601, 15 usc 1602, and 15 usc 1666. I have requested previously and was denied my right as it is my credit that I have extended it. open ended consumer credit plan means a plan under which the creditor reasonably contemplates repeated transactions, which prescribes the terms of such transactions, and which provides for a finance charge which may be computed from time to time on the outstanding unpaid balance. pursuant to 15 usc 1602.

Thank you Fraudulent activity on all 3 my credit reports from the three main CRAs .Fraudulent activities involve transactions made between XXXX and XXXX during that period of the I was not living in the USA was in XXXX XXXX - XXXX, XXXX XXXX, returning to XXXX XXXX in XXXX after a few months traveling around the USA by car until I settled in XXXXXXXX XXXX apparently in XXXX XXXX then moved to XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX where I currently live after purchasing a condo. I live with my current girlfriend of approximately three years. I did extensive traveling while living outside the USA I moved to XXXX with my the woman I was involved with from XXXX till XXXX she was a XXXX citizen who I met while she was visiting a family of hers who was also a friend of mine. I left the USA while involved in a horrific divorce from a mentaly in women with a long history of involuntary XXXX XXXX due to XXXX XXXXXXXX caused by her XXXX XXXX causing her to be a danger to self and others she had been diagnosed with XXXX XXXX with XXXX XXXX approximately 20 years prior. She became not completely with treatment and her behavior deteriorated to the point it was dangerous for me to be anywhere she could find me. The issue of my safety and that of my girlfriend was a very substantial factor in our choice to move to XXXX in XXXX where we stayed until XXXX. We moved to XXXX XXXX in XXXX and I returned to the USA in XXXX. Unfortunately I have almost no paperwork related to my time in XXXX primarily because I was truly hiding from my exwife she is a dangerous person and I had no clue what she was willing to do to harm me or worse and technically a USA citizen is not allowed to travel to XXXX or lived however enforcement is week. However as a citizen of a USA the XXXX government does not allow USA citizens to travel and live there for any extended period of time which is why I had to move yet again in XXXX relocating to XXXX. My relationship with my girlfriend at the time was in decline she had started the process to obtain a visa to come back to the USA with me in XXXX for her and the young daughter we could not legally obtain the documents required the relationship ended. It was time I came home my kids started having kids. While I lived outside the USA I returned a few times for short visits for major family gatherings. My children have no relationship with me ex wife so that was not an issue. My divorce paperwork states separated on or about XXXX of XXXX divorced in XXXX of XXXX will provide copy. I actually left my ex in XXXX living the marital residence where she remained until the house was sold in XXXX I will provide paperwork. I will also provide paperwork to support the above statement. Unfortunately it really begins after I moved from XXXX to XXXX, No banking information because both countries have no banking treaty with the USA. I have a lease from XXXX also paperwork related to the purchase of a home by an American in XXXX a document requesting long term residency which was required to open a business and become after being there well beyond the legal limit I need paperwork to allow me to say it was a the point the local cops who I was friendly with knew my name on sight. I have some of my girlfriends paperwork from XXXX still in XXXX that she provided to homeland to begin the process of obtaining a long term visa to return with me to the USA before we moved to XXXX. I have tried several times to get the negative ideas of my 3 credit reports and failed, this is not the first time I am filing out this exact paperwork and failed, I have contacted the last 3 creditor on my credit report both by mail and on the phone dozens of times and failed, I have reported this and obtained documents from the ftc several times most recently on XX/XX/XXXX that reported I will also include it was mailed to the 3 creditors with all other paperwork the ftc provided and that failed. The same information was sent to all three credit agencies and that failed. I am beyond frustrated. What I recently learned was why I cant fix this and I need help to get this fixed. I will send you what I think is enough for you to assist me if you need anything else please let me know and I will do my best to provide it. The issue seems to have been created by two things the fact that I was living outside the USA in countries without banking treaties so I personally disappeared from the credit market in the XXXX. My ex continued at the marital residence until it was sold, she did move off for a short period to XXXX XXXX but returned I think because she was facing eviction. Her living in that house which still has the landline phone service I opened in XXXX when I purchased and moved into the house my lawyer told me I could not disconnect the phone after I moved out because it would seem like harassment. That cause my exwife to be able to assume my credit identity fraudulently. And the same situation is preventing my from getting my credit repair. Simply I start the complaint process with a credit card company or credit agency they basically look at 3 things phone contact information and address are two she was in control of both The third is if payment were being made and they were at first this shocked and confused me until I realized why. My ex wife is nuts but extremely smart, it is my belief that by making small payments and keeping the balances in control when she opened the credit lines she was able to build up the credit history which allowed her to build the credit limits in one case to {$5000.00}. In XXXX when the house was sold she then maxed out the credit lines and stopped paying. If you look a my credit history on all 3 reports it also supports the above statement. My history is perfect until XXXX and after XXXX when the house was sold. I have requested information by phone and in writing from all 3 creditors and they refuse to provide it I have been told basically the same thing by all three. You have protested this many times and lost the accounts are so old they have been written off and sold so long ago its to difficult to provide any information and that included who currently actually had the debt. This both seems crazy as I try to get information in my efforts to ger this fixed. How can I deal with this problem without so much as information about when and where the account was actually open plus no information about what was preceded where and when. Ridiculous and I violation of my rights under the fair credit acts. Also this letter seems like Im insane but unfortunately its what happened please really take the time to review what I said and the paperwork Im including. Im going to attach one document when I submit this and then update my file to send the rest I just need a break and yesterday at this point I tried to save it finish later and loss everything I wrote. I am also sending some information in it originally form and with a certified translation of the documents because I have to have them for the appropriate government agencies in the country I lived
