Consumer Complaint: Capital One states that I owe an alleged debt for a credit card. I told Capital One that I do not owe them any alleged debts and that they did not provide any documents that was clear and obvious for me to make an informed decision for an agreement. I demanded to " Opt Out '' of them sharing my information to everyone and for them to properly validate this alleged debt. They ignored me by not validating the alleged debt and continuing to share my private information Capital one stated that they do not have documentations for the agreement, that means they are sharing false and misleading information about me to third parties including credit reporting agencies. See attach.

Consumer Complaint: ACCOUNT # XXXX & XXXX So, SEE ATTACHED MESS UP LETTER SENT US DATED XX/XX/XXXX ACCOUNT ENDING in XXXX that we do not have or have had. We have written letters on XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX, XXXX all of these regarding a fraud email we reported on email for card # XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX {$79.00} and then we received email dated XX/XX/XXXX that a new card for account # XXXX was on the way and then again, another email for new card stating it is on the way XX/XX/XXXX for account # XXXX. To date nothing has arrived for a new card. However, we did get a letter dated XXXX XXXX for account XXXX closed we dont have. So, these recent issues have all been caused apparently by your company and nothing has been addressed on original issue this time. We have communicated on accounts we do have. We have not had any communication from Capital One on all the letters sent above and apparently you are trying to reach someone else on there account since this is not our account. We would like the original issues addressed ( which have never been ) as stated in our most recent letter dated XX/XX/XXXX in writing ONLY ( so that we have records ) since you have obviously, can not apply payments correctly or fix the issue of the fraud emails we reported either since now you have another account for us that we do no have. We are very limited on our time as we work full time, we help out on XXXX farms that we have over XXXX cattle to care for as well as all the chores associated with this at this time year. So, your immediate correction to our account and reading our requests would be most helpful. We only have this one credit card we have stated previously in writing what we expect. This issue was caused by a scammer that we tried to report and your mishandling of this issue as well as obviously posting on our account. As you can see, we are the ones that sent the issues in first place so obviously you are confused on accounts.

Consumer Complaint: I have been doing everything in my power to improve my credit rating. It was going well until roughly XX/XX/XXXX. I noticed a XXXX point drop in my credit rating. I tracked it down to the Kohls credit card that I had opened. All my credit cards are signed up with automatic payments monthly. Kohls was the same. On XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke to a customer representative who forwarded me to a representative in the credit card division. I was told that when an account is on auto withdrawal, AND the balance goes to {$0.00} Kohls CC system automatically turns off the auto withdrawal. Naturally I was livid because I received NO NOTICE of this event. After this automatic shut off I made a purchase and naturally expected the system to do what it had been doing. Again, I received NO NOTICE of the shut off and fully expected the auto payment to work. It did not and payments were late thus the derogatory mark on my credit causing great damage to it. I was so livid and XXXX that I had to get off the phone as the representative did nothing to resolve the issue. A couple of days later I called back to try and get more information. The representative told me that the auto withdrawal was removed by me on the website. That was a complete lie and I told him so. This went from bad to worse. Honestly, I had been working so hard to improve my credit rating that I had to put this issue aside. It was too XXXX. It wasnt until a year later that I could address this issue. This bad mark on my credit had nothing to do with me. XXXXhls Credit is the sole creator ( 100 % ) of this bad mark on my credit.

Consumer Complaint: A capitol one credit card was opened under my name. I have not had an active capitol one card since around 2017. When logging in to assess the situation two phone numbers were being utilized that were not mine and that I did not recognize at all. As far as I know capitol one closed the credit card that was fraudulently opened but suggested I report it here.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I used the bill pay feature from Capital One to transfer {$1000.00} from my Capital One personal checking account to my XXXX business account. The money never made it into my XXXX account. I have contacted both financial institutions and they each say that the fault is on the other. Capital One has provided me with a proof of payment. When I gave that to XXXX, they stated that they have done an extensive search of their national data base and have not been able to track down the payment. I even had a joint call between the XXXX institutions and we are at a stand still, both stating that there is nothing else they can do.

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to request that you refrain from reporting a single late payment on my account during the global pandemic. This incident should not negatively impact my credit history, especially considering that my credit card currently holds a XXXX balance. Given the unprecedented circumstances of the pandemic, I believe it is crucial to consider the extenuating factors surrounding this late payment. I have been a responsible customer, consistently making timely payments before the pandemic. However, the financial challenges brought upon by the crisis significantly affected my ability to meet this particular payment obligation. I kindly ask for your understanding and compassion by not reporting this late payment to the credit bureaus. By doing so, you would prevent any unnecessary harm to my credit history, which I have worked hard to maintain. This exception would provide me with a fair chance to recover financially and ensure that my creditworthiness is not unfairly compromised by a single isolated incident. I value my relationship with Capital One and hope that you will consider my request. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to a favorable resolution.
