Consumer Complaint: I contacted all three credit bureaus about Capital One accounts showing on my credit report and I got verification that those two credit cards were to be removed because they were found to be fraudulent and I am not held responsible. I got documentation from Capital One in the mail XX/XX/XXXX and even though it says those accounts were removed from my credit history they still show up as hard inquiries in my credit report and I would like to have those hard inquiries removed and so far they have yet to do that. Also XXXX XXXX is on my credit report stating that I owe them more than {$2000.00} and I have already spoken with them and they are currently waiting on a police report which I will be picking up XX/XX/XXXX from the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I filed bankruptcy in XXXX and I should not have any credit cards or loans appearing in my credit history nor should I have hard inquiries for these. Also my name has not been XXXX for quite some time my last name is XXXX. As for XXXX XXXX they had my address age and income wrong. I have not worked for more than a year because I filed a XXXX claim.

Consumer Complaint: CapOne requires payments by XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX on the due date of XX/XX/2023. I was experiencing internet issues ( nothing new ) and my payment was submitted between 4 to 8 minutes late on XX/XX/2023. Where I live, my internet and wireless service is EXTREMELY poor. I always pay my balances in full, on time and have excellent credit XXXX. I take exception to this usury and as a result, I was charged a {$29.00} late fee PLUS interest of {$12.00}. While the MAJORITY of card firms allow payments up till XXXX XXXX, an XXXX XXXX cutoff is ridiculous and a money grab not to mention such a high penalty. The CapOne scripted rep, XXXX who I spoke with, said this is there policy and that's it. When I said I would be filing complaints and positing on social media, she wanted my to waste more of my time with her supervisor because I had threatened CapOne. Card firms are out of control and this needs to be addressed and fixed. It is neither REASONABLE nor FAIR to the many consumers today who struggle and get burred with these fess and charges while these institutions get richer.
