Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2023, I was sent a Bj 's One, Capital One credit card. I never request this card. I never activated this card. In XXXX or XXXX, I was sent a bill for my BJs membership renewal from Capital One. They took it upon themselves to activate this credit card without my permission. I have since called the company. I paid the membership fee. They waived the late fee that I was assessed and my account is now closed. I am filing this complaint to make you aware of a practice of opening credit cards without the consent of the consumer. I am aware that this may have on my credit score.

I contacted Capital One for a refund and to address this unauthorized payment and they refused to refund me and stated that I made this payment online myself ( which I did not ). I am not set up with autopay. I had to close my account because they refuse to rectify this issue and continued to say that I was the one who made the online payment, even though I repeatedly told them I did not. This is theft!

Consumer Complaint: I reviewed my Consumer Reports and noticed that I have 8 late payments on an account that I was never late for. Furthermore, I inquired about the process of reporting with Capital One and was assured I had no late payments in the last twelve months by a representative who go by the name of XXXX. Consumer Reporting Agencies have assumed a vital role and have a responsibility to report Consumer information to the best of their ability with maximum accuracy. I have never been late on payments for the account : Quicksilver One. I have the last four of the Card in reference : XXXX. Please investigate and provide Proof with statements showing that these payments were late. If proof can't be provided, I demand these payments be updated to on time as they should be as I was never late according to representative XXXX. Thanks,

Consumer Complaint: I have an account with B J 's Capitol One the last XXXX digits are XXXX. I spent XXXX hours trying to get a replacment credit card. I was unable to interface with the technology at Capitol One. THis means I can not identify my self to their satisfaction and I will not be receiving a new card with the old number. I am charged {$55.00} each year for my BJ ; s ' memberhsip. Capitol One uses the permission I granted to BJ 's to charge the membership to XXXX XXXX. TOday speaking with XXXX for XXXX minutes I was unable to verify that the {$55.00} was refunded via my XXXX XXXX account. THe case number is XXXX. I do not want a Capitol One account of any kind. XXXX was eithe unable or unwiling to verify that the refund had been issued. This type of scam happens more and more with consumers. Yes we live in a digital world but companies must deal with consumers and resolve problems.

Consumer Complaint: I have attempted to make a cash deposit of {$2000.00} at XXXX of the ATM machines at Capital One location at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, WA XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. However, the ATM malfunctioned and the machine just shut down ( The ATM machine on the right facing forward ) I talked to the representative on site and she helped me call the customer service. They told me that they would take a look at this. I was very much worried that this would not be taken seriously and the money not being retrieved. I constantly asked them that I be called when the technician was there to open up the machine but they assured me that my money will be retrieved. They should also have all the recordings at the ATM machine. I received an email just moments ago, XX/XX/XXXX that there was no deposit.
