Consumer Complaint: This is with reference to Case Number : XXXX filed against XXXX XXXX on Capital One Credit card. I did a free trial with XXXX XXXX and cancelled after the free trial ended, I cancelled on the day free trial ended which was XX/XX/2023. XXXX XXXX went on to charge my card on file after I had cancelled for {$69.00}. I tried contacting XXXX on the wrong charge through email and phone number but could never get through. Finally, I disputed the charge with my credit card company, and provided the cancellation email as proof that I cancelled on the day the free trial ended. To my disappointment but I was not surprised, my credit card company took sides with the merchant simple for their selfish merchant fee gain to the detriment of their customer, and refused to present my claim for a full refund of {$69.00} even when I presented the proof of cancellation via the email send by XXXX XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: ( Furnisher of information to credit agencies ) is a financial institution by definition under that title. 15 USC1681 section 604 a section 2 states Any consent to XXXX, XXXX, ( Furnisher of information to credit agencies ) whether it be verbal, non-verbal, written, implied, or otherwise is revoked. 15 USC 6802 ( b ) ( c ) states that " A financial institution may not disclose nonpublic personal information to a nonaffiliated third party unless the consumer is explained how the consumer can exercise that nondisclosure option. '' ( Furnisher of information to credit agencies ) Never informed me of my right to exercise my nondisclosure option. Not only that 15 USC 1681C ( a ) ( 5 ) states '' Except as authorized under subsection ( b ), no consumer reporting agency may make any consumer report containing any of the following items of information Any other adverse item of information. " This account is an adverse item they are reporting again without my permission which is against the law. 15 U.S. Code 1681s2 ( A ) ( 1 ) A states " A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. 15 U.S. Code 1681e states '' Every consumer reporting agency shall maintain reasonable procedures designed to avoid violations of section 1681c of this title and to limit the furnishing of consumer reports to the purposes listed under section 1681b of this title. Consumer Complaint: I had a statement balance on my account that I made full payment on the statement balance but instead ended up with interest charges. The due date was Saturday XX/XX/2023 which was a Saturday. I made the payment for the full amount on XX/XX/2023. I was never aware that Capital One credit card had any issue with paying after XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX which other financial institutions I had accounts with never did. First, I was charged late payment fee of {$40.00}, when I actually paid on the payment due date. When I called to challenge their actions the late payment fee was then waived instead of it been reversed. This showed me that this credit card provider was shady and out to extort money from consumers at any opportunity. When I logged into my account today, I realized that I have been charged a purchase interest rate of {$110.00} on a purchase balance of {$6700.00} on a 20.49 % APR. So I called again to ask why I was been charged that interest and the reason given was because my payment was late. This is so annoying knowing that I submitted payment for the full statement balance on the due date, and after making such huge payment on time of {$9200.00} statement balance to avoid the interest, I was still charged interest, showing how insensitive and mean this company is to rob a customer of their hard earned money in this time of difficulties that all Americans are trying to make ends meet. I am aware of people that are not even able to make minimum payments and with all effort to make full payment on time this is happening.

Consumer Complaint: I am a holder of both the Venture and Venture X credit cards by Capital One. I am unable to access my credit card transactions online or use the travel portal for the last 2 months despite having an active account. I have made numerous calls with Capital One customer support and been passed around to many different teams across Capital One but have not received a resolution. I have had a total of XXXX hours of phone calls with Capital One over the past 30 days. I pay {$490.00} worth of annual fees for both travel credit cards but am unable to use any of the travel benefits. Capital One has failed to provide any estimated time of resolution nor can they enable me to book travel using their travel agents. I was told that I am welcome to quit my bank without any refund of credit card fees or miles.

Looking over my contract I have noticed that their company violated the Truth-In-Lending Act Law that should have been honored within my contract. They also violated my Right to Rescission ( 12 CFR 1026.23 ). The total sale price on the ( XXXX ) XXXX XXXX XXXX is {$31000.00} with {$1000.00}. I wrote a Notice Rescission of Transaction, along with an Affidavit of Truth of Deceptive Business Practice, and a hand written letter to CFO XXXX XXXX XXXX & XXXX XXXX XXXX, and I sent it Certified Mail. I made him my limited power of attorney. I gave him full power to apply the principals balance to the principals account and to communicate in writing upon the completion of the authority I gave him.

Consumer Complaint: Capital One furnished my information regarding my Transactions with them to non-affiliated third parties without my consent which they CAN NOT DO, according to 15 U.S. Code 6802a - Obligations with respect to disclosures of personal information. Furthermore, according to 15 U.S. Code 1681a ( 2 ) ( i ) - Definitions ; rules of construction, which states : ( 2 ) Exclusions.Except as provided in paragraph ( 3 ), the term consumer report does not include ( A ) subject to section 1681s3 of this title, any ( i ) report containing information solely as to transactions or experiences between the consumer and the person making the report... Therefore, the transactions between me and Capital One should not be reflected on my consumer report. Lastly, per 15 U.S. Code 1681s2 ( A ) which states : A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. In addition, section ( B ) states : A person shall not furnish information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if ( i ) the person has been notified by the consumer, at the address specified by the person for such notices, that specific information is inaccurate; and ( ii ) the information is, in fact, inaccurate. See attached consumer report for INACCURATE information Highlighted and Circled in RED that being reported on my consumer report, which I never approved to be furnished to non-affiliated third parties in the first place.
