Consumer Complaint: They are charging me a late fee for a mistake that they made. There are now two different account numbers. I paid before the due date so I wouldnt get a late fee. Total was {$64.00} and now I am receiving more late fee bills for now {$160.00} I already called them and they dont care and just want the Money. The money has already been taken out of my account when I paid over the phone on XXXX Then there was an issue with wrong account and somehow there are two accounts so I paid it again because they sent me a letter stating it was the wrong account. Why are there two account? Someone messed something up and doesnt know what theyre doing and one account needs to be closed. They dont want to help me when i call they keep putting me on hold and i gave them account numbers and no one is helping me

Consumer Complaint: Capital One does not care about their custumers! I have been paying my bill on time all along and using my bill pay thru my bank I send the payment to the po box that was on the envelope that came with my bill instead of my payment going to XXXX XXXX they have been going to XXXX XXXX This is not my mistake it is theirs because I was only using the address that came with my bill! I can not afford these charges and even though the guy I spoke with on the phone admitted they made a mistake he was only willing to remove {$40.00} XXXX owe over {$2500.00} and most of it is late fees! This is no way to treat a custumer who has always paid his bills on time they had the money it just went to the wrong po box !

Consumer Complaint: Capital One charged my Walmart credit card {$400.00}. The charges were part of a fraud investigation. They claimed that the {$400.00} was credited to my account during the investigation. That's a lie. They did not credit my account {$400.00} during the investigation. So now they added the {$400.00} back on my balance. They also have destroyed my credit by reporting that I was late 30 to 120 days. I want the {$400.00} on my account credited back to my account not to the balance. I also want them to retract the late payments on my credit reports.
