Consumer Complaint: ON XX/XX/XXXX I ATTEMPTED TO SEND A DOMESTIC WIRE TRANSFER TO MY BUSINESS CHECKING ACCOUNT WITH FIFTH THIRD BANK FROM MY CAPITAL ONE SAVINGS ACCOUNT ( NOW CLOSED *6067 ). I WAS TOLD BY CAPITAL ONE THE TRANSFER WAS REVERSED BECAUSE THE ACCOUNT THE MONEY WAS BEING TRANSFERED RO WAS EITHER CLOSED OR WRONG ACCOUNT NUMBER WAS PROVIDED. I SPOKE WITH FIFTH THIRD BANK THAT DAY THEY STATED THEY DID NOT REJECT THE TRANSFER. THE ACCOUNT NUMBER WAS CORRECT AND THE WIRE TRANSFER NUMBER WAS CORRECT. ULTIMATELY, THE TRANSFER WAS REJECTED AND MONEY WAS RETURNED. CAPITAL ONE SAYS IT WAS FIFTH THIRD, FIFTH THIRD SAYS THATS NOT TRUE. THE FUNDS WERE REFUNDED, BUT I WAS CHARGED A {$30.00} WIRE CONVENIENCE FEE. I REQUESTED AN OPPURTUNITY TO HAVE INVESTIGATION FORM COMPLETED TO SEE WHY WAS THE TRANSFER REJECTED. I WAS TOLD THIS IS ONLY AN OPTION WHEN FUNDS GO MISSING, WHICH WAS NOT THE CASE FOR ME. I REQUESTED A RECEIPT AND WAS TOLD I WOULD HEAR BACK AND RECEIVE THE RECEIPT FROM CAPITAL ONE WITHIN 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS. THEY KNOW HOW TO GET IN TUCH WITH ME VERY QUICKLY. I WOULD LIKE TO EXPECT THE SAME URGENCY WHEN I REQUEST OFFICIAL DOCUMENTATION. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE RECEIPT AND WAS CHARGED A CONVENIENCE FEE FOR A TRANSACTION THAT DID NOT OCCUR AND NOT TO ANY FAULT OF MY OWN.

Consumer Complaint: My title was paid off last XXXX. I requested that it was sent to my parents address on XXXX XXXX in XXXX, XXXX Capital One never sent anything. I was unable to get into my online account. I recently purchased a new vehicle because my last one had mechanical issues. Capital One claims to have sent a document I can take to the DMV. I still dont have my title or that document. I can not complete my transaction for my new vehicle until I get that title to the dealer. They breached the contract and violated the law. I paid all of my vehicle payments and I am entitled to a timely copy of my title documents. One year should be enough time for them to get my title sent to me. Moreover, the burden and payments for getting a replacement title should not be on me, as it was not my responsibility for getting these documents. The finance company should not be able to shift their breach of contract onto the postal service.

Consumer Complaint: Dear Sir/Madam : This is an SCRA case. A Kohl 's representative told me that since I was faxing my military Orders, the late fee would be forgiven. Somehow this did not occur, and the original fee has now ballooned to {$100.00} strictly from additional penalties, and is being reported to credit bureaus. The fax number the representative gave me was ( XXXX ) XXXX, and that's what I used. I remember she half-snickered when I read the number back to her to confirm I had it right. I don't know if this signifies the number is fake. One might say this has the appearance of sabotage, maybe by someone who doesn't like the military, but I want to believe it is just an honest miscommunication / misunderstanding. I am certainly willing to email or fax my Orders to any other fax number that Kohl 's might prefer. I have not been able to find one online, which is why I had called Kohl 's customer service to obtain it. Thank You for your time and kind attention.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, XXXX XXXX paid his Capital One Venture card ending in XXXX. The payment is ordinary for his account, generally at the beginning of the month he pays his balance. The balance of {$1000.00} was paid in full and withdrawn from my associated bank account. On XX/XX/2023 XXXX XXXX attempted to use his card and was told that it is declined. To much chagrin, XXXX contacted Capital One where they aggressively indicated they can hold my account for 10 days to verify payment. I dont see how this is legally acceptable if my payment has cleared from my associated bank. Managers at capital one were aggressive and rude essentially questioning whether I had the money to make a payment. I have never been late on a payment for them and all of my payments come directly from the same associated bank account ( XXXX ). I have bills that rely on this account and I would not have made my payment 10 days early had I known i would not have access to any money

They have not been able to redeem the rewards yet and have not followed up with a reason or any clarity in the matter. After not hearing back from them for months, on XX/XX/XXXX, I got an email from them stating that my account has been suspended. The lawyer sent them a letter ( dated XX/XX/XXXX ) requesting that they contact me and provide me with information, but I have not heard back from them.
